Loving this place! Marisol is not only sweet, but very talented! She is great at both hair cuts and hair color/​highlights! She’s amazing. I highly recommend marisol for all of your hair needs. She also saw my fiancé and did a great guys hair cut! Also, accessible parking lot so you don’t have to drive all over looking for parking. Makes life easier.

Was Recommended here by someone who has always given great recommendations. Whether it be food, jewelry, facials etc. So I knew it was going to be legit before even going. Marisol herself did a cut and color on my soon to be wife and it looked amazing. She also gave me a great man-​cut. It didn’t take forever like some places but she was very thorough and the experience was pleasant.

Marisol is amazing with guys hair. She is not only an awesome and beautiful person but her haircuts are great. She is the only person I know who is able to style straight and thick Japanese hair extremely well. Her ability to create a cut that not only is great at the time you get the cut but one that lasts till it gets long is amazing!
I moved out of state and I am having a hard time coping with the loss of my favorite hair lady. And every time I come back for either a personal trip or business trip I always make time to see her.

Marisol is great! She helped me with a cut that got rid of most of my dyed hair so that I can get it back to my original color. She has great style and it shows in the cuts. She also gave me a product for free just because my hair needed it!
I love it and will keep going back.

Marisol did hair and makeup for myself and the rest of my 10 women wedding party on my wedding day, and she was a total pro! She was recommended by a friend, and I’m glad I went with Marisol. Not only did she do the perfect wavy beach hair I was hoping for, but she did a fantastic job on my makeup too. Considering how badly you can get ripped off for anything that has to do with weddings, Marisol worked with my budget and was very accomodating.
She worked with each of us (and we ranged from ages 20 to 67!) to do a look that made us look our best — flattering and natural; and the pictures turned out great! She spent the entire day with us, doing a marathon session of makeup and hair, and she was funny, kind, a great listener, and a real professional.
I would recommend her if you have a special event like a wedding or prom.

I think Marisol & Co is one of those hidden gems — a smaller place just off the main drag enough that it doesn’t seem to get swamped, but good enough to go again & again. It’s on the SE corner of MBB & Pacific, right across from Pacific Elementary.
A lot of hair places just say «how do you want it cut» and leave it at that. Marisol takes the extra effort to say «that’s great, but if we do something slightly different I think the results will be much better». She took my normal cut, did it slightly long at the top, slightly shorter on the sides, and told me I needed to grow my sideburns just a bit lower. The sideburns will take a few days to grow so I’ll reserve judgment on that, but I’ve gotta admit the rest of her advice was spot-​on.
Another thing — I don’t know what she did differently from other places, but normally I’m just barely old enough (that’s my story and I’m sticking to it) to see a few, okay — maybe more than a few — gray hairs raising their ugly little heads above all the other hair after I shower and dry the next day. With Marisol’s cut I think I saw maybe 3 or 4 the next day, and they were just barely above the surface. Not bad!
She also seems to be more interested in getting you what you really need and less concerned with maxing profits. I normally put some aerosol mousse in my hair, but she said «no, you need something like this» and whipped out a container of a pomade. Unfortunately she was out of the stuff (it’s new), and could have easily sold me the $ 25 alternative she did have in stock. Instead — she just scooped out a bunch of the new stuff, put it in a an empty container and handed it to me — free.
In addition to hair, she also does make-​up, special events, etc. I have no idea how good she is with these other things — but for hair, I’m very pleased.
