It says they deliver but their phone number is out of service. Also their online ordering doesn’t work. So I’ve tried going there myself but the parking is so difficult to find, I still prefer delivering but there seems to be no way. Their salad is actually decent. But I am not happy with their service they’re providing.

Had a yummy salad with the hubby after a 5 mile bike ride and man was it satisfying. We didn’t feel like making our own salads so they did it for us. I got the buffalo chicken salad which had blue cheese and I’m not a total blue cheese fan so i would suggest asking for that on the side. also since it’s a buffalo chicken salad expect some spice. My husband got the cobb which had a nice helping of chicken and egg. He finished every bite of his. Other than that both of our salads were good.

I LOVE Leafy Green ! I work close by and when I need some greens it is my place of choice ! I love the fact that i can make myself a $ 3 or a $ 10 salad depending on my appetite. I particularly enjoy their wide choices of greens, including kale and spinach. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

This place is awesome if you want to be ignored by the employee, sit in uncomfortable flimsy chairs, and you’re hoping to pay $ 24 for a salad and soup. Ridiculous. Regarding the actual food, it was fine, standard salad bar basics. The soup was salty. I did appreciate that some of the salad bar items were organic. The food being fine is why this place gets two stars instead of one.

Roommate and I ordered here this evening. Started by asking their soup options. They were out of all soups but 1(tortilla soup). Not too bad. Then ordered a Greek Salad,(add chicken) and Southwestern Turkey Salad. They were out of chicken… AND out of turkey. We ran through through and asked for every single meat option to substitute(Salami, Ham, Lemon Pepper Chicken, etc). Totally out. Everything besides Buffalo Chicken. Lastly, as we’re checking out, they mention they don’t have Feta cheese for the Greek Salad either. Essentially taking the«Greek» out of the name. In the end, we ended up ordering really the only thing on the menu, 2 Buffalo Chicken Salads Not sure how one restaurant can be out of more than half of their menu but I would suggest bringing in someone who can manage operations /inventory a little better. Not the best first experience

It’s been my desire to eat a more plant based diet, and this place is a great avenue for a healthy work lunch by the manhattan beach pier. Great selection of organic salad items, I personally stock up on spinach and kale leaves. Then add black beans for protein and haas tomatoes with chunks of avocado and dress it up with Miso ginger ranch. After weighing my salad on the scale I usually can get under $ 10 cost if i wanted 2 meals worth of food.

Decent. The salad and fixin’s were delicious, but a bit pricey for a salad bar. I chose one of the«employee makes it» types. The place was deserted when I walked in, and it took several minutes for the employee to respond to my calls of «hello?», and she didn’t seem to be very interested in making the salad, though she did do it(actor type, maybe?) I do like that the place was quick and easy. I’ll probably be back. Interesting note– they participate in some sort of food card thing that can earn you points. Haven’t tried it, but looked intriguing.

This joint was the kind of bar that I was looking for. I wasn’t feeling well at all and I wanted to just munch on vegetables. I could not have imagined a better place to get my fix and my stomach sure did appreciate it. Whenever I head to The Kettle, I always manage to take a glance at Leafy Greens’ storefront and tell myself«I have to give that place a try!». I finally made the time and it was not what I expected at all. I like that it is both self service and customers can order house salads. The variety is enormous and there were ingredients that aren’t usually seen in salad bars. They had watercress, which I loaded up on because it is my favorite! They had six kinds of greens for the base of the salad. I got a mixture of spinach and arugula. They had this pre made salads like tomato and avocado or pasta salad. That was a nice addition. They also serve soup, I wasn’t in the mood for soup but I definitely will give it a try next time since it is freezing! This place is so simple and has such a relaxing vibe about it. They had succulents for decorations, which is a definite plus! The place is rustic but modern! The place is clean and welcoming. The ingredients are fresh and properly organized. I am definitely going to be back! My only con would be that the chairs don’t seem sturdy! P. S. They also have Wi-fi!

Apparently Subway has a slightly less riff raff sister, and she’s a salad bar. It works in a pinch if you want something healthy. I love Arugula, but their’s does not seem to be handled very carefully, or appear fresh. I watched the girl jam a pair of tongs into it roughly, pick it up, look and stir. Like an archeologist examining mamoth hair, but a lot rougher. Arugula can’t really stand up to that. These people sell salad, but they don’t respect salad. Hopefully Leafy Greens will get some of that Lemonade-style Quinoa action going on soon. Goat cheese. Curry chicken with grapes. Et cetera. Salad items seem pre packaged(not made there). For now I’ll stick to Lemonade. It feels like the cafeteria of a space ship 200 years in the future, but it’s worth it.

My two daughters and I LOVE this place!!! The only thing we hate is the hours. A lot of times we want to have dinner there on Sunday, and they are closed when we go.

Very nice salad bar for downtown Manhattan Beach. It is a very small store and it’s completely filled with the salad bar. There is basically no seating other than a couple of stools along the front window. They want you to get your salad and then move on. There is a good selection of greens and prepared salad items. They also have some good proteins like chicken and turkey. The only have canned and bottled drinks. The prices are pretty expensive, but the selection is good.

This place was awesome!!! I had driven up from the OC to hang out with my friend from Gardena but she was working until 5 so I decided to hang a left on Manhattan Beach Blvd and go wander around the beach. I was ridiculously hungry and wandering around the main street off the pier in a hunger-induced fog when this place appeared out of nowhere. I was so excited! I walked in and was kind of overwhelmed. I asked the lady where to start and she just pointed. I asked her what was good and she shrugged. Alright fine, will undertake my salad making adventures without assistance. Service could def use a boost there. But the food was really good! They had a really nice selection of greens, vegetables, protein add ons, and salad dressings. I really liked how they had things like tomato and avocado salad and pico de gallo to put on the salads too, not just straight vegetables. They also had stuff like falafel and hummus(hummus was good, falafel not so much), salsa, tortilla strips as toppings, etc. I ended up making kind of a Mexican/Greek-esque salad lol. It rang in around 10 bucks. Wasn’t too bad especially considering how huge the salad was. I went in at dinner hours though and no one else was inside which struck me as a bit odd — maybe it’s more of a lunch place though. Anyway, great healthy option near the beach!!!

Pros: We need this down here good organic stuff lot’s of stuff to choose from clean Cons Expensive Limited seating No soda bar… I know, but I like my diet coke! bad plastic forks Overall, I gave it 4 stars because it is better than average and maybe they will improve on the few points they need to. I hope it stays around.

I decided to try this new place for lunch while my friend thought it was a ‘too healthy’ option… Leaves were all looked fresh, and good to see an arugula option. I liked their variety and noticed some of the items came with different flavors/styles such as plain artichoke or marinated one, black/sliced olive or whole Kalamata, raw broccoli or steamed, etc. which is not a case at a normal salad bar. It could get pricey depends on how much you pile up(I love salad and have the tendency to create mini Mount Fuji). Just remember this is not Souplanation, haha. :D Btw, if you’re signed up with those airline dining programs, you would also earn miles(by using your pre-registered credit card) as they’re a participant.

5 stars for the salad– the smoked turkey, bacon and avocado salad is extremely good. I would of given it 5 stars if the customer service was better. The girls on the phone automatically say«hold on» rudely and they don’t sound friendly.

Vegan’s paradise but meat eaters will enjoy it as well… Great location less than a block from Manhattan beach pier; Excellent addition to this area. For health conscious like myself this is a great place to stop by make your salad and then head out to the beach vs typical fried beach food selection. Veggie selection was very good as well as the selection of proteins and various salad dressing selections. Salads are $ 8/lb. So choose and portion of your items wisely or you could end up spending 20 bucks on a salad. Over all a great place and I will certainly visit this place more in Summer time on my way to beach :-)

This is a great place to go if you want to eat healthy. I’ve been here a few times already and had a good experience each time. They keep their salad bar chocked full of the various ingredients you need to create a really nice salad to your liking. They also have soups for a separate cost to the $ 7.99/lb do-it-yourself price. On my last visit a few days ago, they had added a few tables and chairs now so you can dine-in. Although, since you’re in Manhattan Beach, you could take your salad to go and eat it at the beach a few yards down the road or at the Metlox town square across the street where there are tables and chairs in the plaza where you can enjoy your salad under the bright sunshine. They don’t offer water so if you want something to drink along with your salad, you have to buy one of their beverages. They have a good selection of salad dressings but I personally wish they had Apple Cider vinegar as an ingredient because I’m sure people would appreciate that. I know I would since I’m on a special diet where I can only have that with olive oil. They could also offer lemon juice as people can make a really healthy low-fat dressing. Other than these few suggestions, this is a great place to go to have a salad. I will certainly visit this eatery many more times in the future.

I work in Hermosa and find myself picking up lunch from Leafy Greens weekly. been on a healthy, homegrown organic kick as of late and LG delivers big time. The variety of «toppings» they offer excites me every time I walk up to their bar :) And their daily soup — ahhhhh GETOUT! Are you kidding me? I can rarely resist. Whatever it may be, it’s always savory and warms the bones. But listen, this place wouldn’t be getting 5 stars if I didn’t have the pleasure of meeting the forces behind the idea –the owners and their staff. To me, it’s always the cherry on top when you see the owner of restaurants getting down and dirty –working checkout, interacting with customers, re-filling the hardboiled eggs and joking with their employees. Oh, and what better thing than NOT dipping into a food coma at your desk immediately after lunch? Healthy for the body, invigorating for the mind. #getsome

This place is great for fresh, high quality salad items. Normally salad bars weird me out because you don’t know how long produce has been sitting out and who has touched what. But this place doesn’t give me that feeling at all! It’s all on solid packed ice, crisp, bright, good looking food. There are good dressings in a wide variety, as well as toppings. And there are enough ingredients to make any style salad. I was also a fan of the chicken — good chunks of Boars Head, not slimy dark meat! There was not much room to sit, there are only four tables(two of which are two tops). And if there’s a line I could see being in there for an eternity. But no line when I went post lunch rush.

I had the portabella tomato bisque and it was to die for. They said they just started serving it and if they keep doing so, I will be a regular. All salad stuff was fresh and tasty. If only they had more seating options.
