This is more for the office than the Dr — he was fine, though was very brief with me. But I waited over an hour past my appointment time to then see the Dr for 5 minutes! That was over a year ago, and I just got a bill from the office! Its the first bill I’ve received! Who sits on a bill for a year! And my flex spending can’t be used since the service wasn’t for this year.

Saw Dr. Briskin for neuroma pain. I had the pain for about 1 year and two months secondary to another injury. Dr. Briskin removed it, and 4 weeks out, as good as new. So grateful. Awaiting orthotics for the next phase. Very pleased.

Very poor job explaining how payment works. They took my credit card right when I got there and charged me the full $ 319 for x-​Ray and appointment. Refused to sent it to insurance first. Spoke with insurance today and they told me the dr overcharged on their services. Seemed very deceptive and dishonest when I was inquiring about payment/​insurance options. Also, was given a crappy ankle brace and told to live with the pain. Waste of money for sure

I saw Dr. Briskin for foot and ankle pain of which I did not know what could be causing it. He thoroughly examined my foot and ankle and took and X-​ray. After careful review he assured me it will get better,. His recommendations helped me tremendously. During treatment I had several questions, he was there to answer all of them. His ofice staff was friendly and extreamly helpful with my request. These people know what they are doing and pleasantly so. If you have foot or ankle problems this is the place to be.

I saw Gary for Plantar Fasciitis in my right foot. He watched me walk, as I recall he took an x-​ray, and then prescribed orthotics. The method that his assistant used to mold the orthotics has been shown to be inadequate, and to me, did not make sense. But that is not my main complaint. He never looked at my feet. That’s right. He never actually, physically, looked at my feet. If he had, he might have caught my bunion and neuroma in their early stages, and been able to do something about them. As it was, the orthotics were inadequate (they failed to put my foot in a neutral position), and he fixed nothing.

I was thoroughly pleased with the care I received from the Dr. and the office. Easy to get an appt. took my insurance and really spent time with me explaining the issues. I really felt like I got doctor care and was not just rushed out the door after 30 seconds. The recommended treatment helped alleviate the issue to the degree that was expected as I was informed it would not solve the problem 100% but was the preferred first step and my follow up appt was also the same level of service. On Tuesday, I went in for an appointment with Dr Briskin. This was for a plantar fascia problem with my right foot. The doctor was pleasant and wrote me a script to see a PT 3X’s a week for a month before a return visit to him. I made my first PT appointment for that Thursday. The therapist did her things for my foot and calf and also recommended I get a compounded cream to apply topically. She said to call Dr Briskin and request a script for it and if there were any concerns, to have him contact her. I called that same morning and gave Dr Briskin’s receptionist the request, along with the names of the 3 ingredients the PT wanted in the cream. I was told that Dr Briskin would be given the message.
I went to my next appt with the PT the next day on Friday. She asked if I had gotten the script. I said that no one had gotten back to me. Since I was going away next week, she recommended that I should call him again. She felt that this salve would really help me, especially with my upcoming trip. I again called his office. I was told that I was being sent to Dr Briskin’s assistant. Instead, after being on hold for 15 minutes, the original receptionist came back on the phone. She said that the doctor got my message yesterday and although no one returned my call… his response was that I had to come in for another appointment to get a script. What? I’m not asking for drugs here. Dr Briskin sent me to a PT, another professional, who is requesting and recommending this TOPICAL cream. This makes no sense whatsoever. I will be canceling my follow-​up visit with Dr Briskin and his unhelpful staff and finding an office that has customer service… and makes sense.

I had a ganglion cyst on my foot and Dr. Briskin did an ultrasound and drained it. I didn’t have insurance for this procedure so it was a few hundred bucks. It felt expensive but Dr. Briskin was a total pro and thorough and the whole thing essentially painless. He seemed like a totally smart, good guy and no upselling. I would say anybody with a foot problem, he is totally good. High marks! But not inexpensive if you have to pay out-​of-​pocket.
