I’ve come here a handful of times, and I believe it’s the manager (?) who always takes my order, and he always makes me feel incredibly rushed. I understand it’s a busy location, but each time I felt like I was being rushed through my order. I went today and while there were a couple of people waiting for their beverages, there was no one else behind me in line and I would’ve appreciated not feeling rushed. They also gave me an incredibly small amount of whipped cream. I’ve been to the other coffee bean on Hawthorne Blvd in Torrance and that one has WAY better customer service and the employees are much friendlier than these. Perhaps have another person on the shift so you can give great customer service to everyone?
Even when I was paying, I’m not stupid, I know how to swipe through a debit card and he kept repeating which buttons to push and when, before they even popped up on the screen!
I doubt I’ll be coming here again. I’ll opt for the Starbucks across the street instead.

This place has excellent customer service.
I was greeted with smiles and the cashier was so friendly. She invited me to join their rewards program. She nicely explained all the perks that come with it. When it told her that my phone was almost out of charge, so I wouldn’t be able to download the app to join. She offered to go to the back and find a charger for me!
My Coffee just perfect and timely.

I am a huge fan of this Coffee Bean. I actually work in the same shopping center and wasn’t a huge coffee person until I started working next door to this place. The staff is really nice every time I come in and I feel like they get me in and out fast (because I usually gotta get back to work).
I’m a huge fan of their Medicine Ball Tea, It taste’s amazing and has been something I’ve now got all my coworkers craving.

I always get the orchard peach ice tea and «everything» bagel heated up with cream cheese
Super friendly baristas and ample seating for everybody. Lots of outlets and wifi. They play a lot of smooth jazz and relaxing music.
²⁄₄ sides of the building are big windows so tons of natural lighting. You can adjust lighting with the blinds.
Ample parking in the parking lot and located in the same center with massage, waxing, Jamba juice, cvs, Bristol farms, and etc.
Love this place!

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again… Please expand to the Midwest, Coffee Bean! I will opt for this coffee chain before starbucks any day of the week. When in Cali, this is my coffee spot!
This location was conveniently located near the hotel we were staying at this past trip. Plenty of parking in this strip mall to stop in. We stopped in both mornings we stayed in Manhattan Beach. Both mornings there was no line, service was on point and quick, and coffee even better! I was tempted to bring home k-​cups to brew my own Coffee Bean coffee, and as I’m typing this review… kind of regretting it, so I may have to look online to see if I can find them!

This was a great coffee bean to stop in and beat the heat during our recent sweltering October days. I thought the staff was super nice and they engaged with every customer, with a smile. One of them even had to regulate on some disrespectful woman, who went out and got some other takeout food, then proceeded to eat it while sitting at the CBTL tables! And I think she had been LONG done with her CBTL drink! Nonetheless, he was super nice and asked her to leave or stop eating the external food in a very polite way. Large ice tea refills are just $ 1. The wifi worked well after a few times to get it up and running but then i had no problems. And the music was not too loud, just good background noise.

This coffee bean is great. I love coming here I feel at home. Staff is great even though it’s not the staff I’m use to. The manager is awesome remembers my name when I come in and makes me want to come back every day. To me this is the best coffee bean I’ve been too.

The staff is friendly, sweet, & fast. I’m a huge coffee drinker, but rarely go into overwhelming coffee houses. I was very pleased with this location, drink and service ! I got a dark chocolate iced latte (a baristas con concoction) slurped it up so fast ! These coffee places are dangerous but such a treat when you don’t have the ingredients in your household ! This location is in a busy strip mall but still plenty of parking. The store itself feels roomy and inviting. I was super impressed at how clean the bathrooms were — I know, sounds like a small thing but most coffee joints (including that chain we all know and practically live in) have bathrooms that are a fright.
Nice friendly and fast service. What more can you ask for?

As always great service and a fantastic sugar free ice blended mocha add an extra shot and chocolate covered espresso beans. Big and spacious location, tons of easy parking and super fast service. Currently all blended drinks ate half off 3 – 5 pm till August 2^nd!

Ice blended drinks are a dream come true … I’m not a big fan of their hot coffee or their teas but damn they know how to make a good ice blended drink. Staff is friendly and store is super clean. They also have other choices for drinks but I prefer their ice blends… Occasionally they have seasonal flavored drinks and they are delicious!

My coworkers and I LOVE this place! We come here at least once a week to feed our coffee addiction. In fact, we come here so often that some of the baristas recognize us and know our orders. I love that they have a no sugar option for some of their lattes.
However, I would like to add that the drinks don’t always come out the same each time and more or less depends on which barista is making your drink. Some times my lattes aren’t mixed evenly but that is rare. There is one time where I had ordered a hot latte but decided later I wanted it over ice instead. I tried asking the barista making my drink but she said «sorry it’s too late». All she would have to do is get a new cup, fill it with ice and pour the latte in no? How hard is that? (minus one star for that)
Note: This is one of the locations where you can use the CBTL app which is still in it’s testing phase. Sometimes the machines aren’t able to process the code so we don’t get our reward points right away but calling them is simple and hassle-​free.

I like this coffee bean. It’s pretty big, and the employees are all very friendly. The place is clean and there is plenty of super comfortable seating.

Coffee, Bean & Tea Leaf is my favorite go to for hot beverages. The employees at all shops are clean, friendly and prompt. The original place for ice blended coffee.

This is my go-​to CBTL on the way home from my run club on Sunday mornings, and possibly, my favorite CBTL. The staff is beyond friendly and knowledgeable if I ask a question if I am contemplating something other than my normal drink. The seating area is very clean and modern (some CBTL’s have old tables with a varnish that makes them sticky). Plenty of parking in the lot adjacent to the location and a great place to grab your brew before shopping at Bristol Farms or Trader Joes (also in the adjacent parking lot).
Great job staff and baristas!

Why I am slowly converting from Starbucks to CBTL…
PROs:
— Almond Milk. CBTL has it, Sbux does not.
— Powders over syrups… CBTL uses flavored powders versus higher sugar syrups
— Menu, menu, menu… I think CBTL has more options lately and Sbux is feeling old
— Friendly baristas… CBTL has them… all of them… Sbux not so much lately
CONS:
— Cost… on average CBTL costs about $ 0.80-$ 1.10 more than Sbux
— Loyalty program… Sbux gold card still wins out on perks
— Still not using non-​GMO options when they can
This is a good location… they’re slowly converting me… ENJOY!

I love coming to this Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf! This location, including the bathroom, is spacious and clean. There are plenty of places to relax or get some work/​studying done! They have soft comfy chairs, regular dining tables, large work desks, and bar stools. The large work desks and bar stool areas even have plugs underneath to make laptop charging convenient. The background music is set at the perfect volume – not too loud to disturb you while you’re doing work, but high enough to create a nice ambiance. They also have a pretty good playlist! Genres range from slightly upbeat to mellow (but not mellow enough to put me to sleep, which I appreciate!). Free WiFi, and it’s pretty fast, too! Woohoo!
Parking:
Large plaza parking lot. There are usually spaces open right in front of the coffee shop!
Service:
Employees always greet customers as soon as they enter the door. They are all really friendly, and drinks are made quickly.
Drinks:
— Blood Orange Sweet Tea — Per the recommendation of the barista, I decided on the Blood Orange Sweet Tea over the Pear Berry. I really enjoyed this drink. It was refreshing and sweet! They give a LOT of crushed ice, which keeps the drink nice and cold for a long period of time.
— Pear Berry Tea Granita — I have been wanting to try one of their tea granitas since they first started advertising them a while ago. Slushy and sweet, this drink was perfect for quenching my thirst on a hot day! Tea granitas are caffeine-​free.

5 stars for the fucking brilliant free Wi-​Fi.
I came here when I needed a place to chill out for a few hours before my friend was able to pick me up. Did a quick search for locations around the area and found this branch of Coffee Bean and I have to say that it’s one of the most pleasant coffee shops I’ve had the pleasure of visiting.
Atmosphere:
Very spacious with clean décor. The nice and cool AC combined with the comfy seating makes for a perfect break from the hot ass outside world.
Customer Service:
Really friendly. I walked in and was immediately greeted. The employees were also very efficient with taking my order and having it ready.
Food:
I got the Iced Tea Lemonade made with just basic green tea and it was very refreshing and tasty. At other coffee branches (namely… Starbucks…), a lot of iced tea would come packed to the brim with large ice chunks that you end up finishing your drink in about 3 sips. However, the iced tea lemonade here were crushed and I definitely felt that I paid good money’s worth.
I also had a Blueberry Cheese Danish warmed up and what a perfect snack of nibble on.
NOTES:
~ As I mentioned before, free Wi-​Fi! Okay speeds too.
~ They have power outlets available for phone /​laptop charging, so it makes for a great place to hang out at for a while whether it be studying or just chilling out in general.
