Travelodge Manhasset

I stayed in a single room for few days. It was decent for the money charged and is in a good location. Room was cleaned and staff was friendly.

The hotel is in a reasonably nice neighborhood and is next to a seemingly popular Asian restaurant next door. All the rooms only have exterior doors and seem claustrophobic. Our room smelled musty upon entering and had lot of carpet stains. The bathrooms were dated and small. Refrigerator and microwave were included in the room. We turned on the air conditioning and a faint smell from the restaurant entered the room, but it was preferable to the musty smell. Clerk for hotel was behind bulletproof glass. The hotel even for being a NY area one seemed overpriced for what I would call a one and a half star hotel.
