I called ahead to make an appointment and was told that they do not take appointments, only walk ins. Okies, great. Not what their website says, but whatever. Staff was moderately friendly and I had to wait about 20 minutes before I was brought back. It was clean and I watched/listened to the horse race speculation while I knitted and waited. The lady that cut my hair was nice, but it seemed like she rarely does a female haircut. I was surprised when my hair was just spritzed with some water for my cut… no shampoo first. I had at least 6 – 8 inches cut off and I was happy she mentioned donating the hair. After that the cut was mainly done with the electric trimmers. No clean angled bob for me. she gave me layers and I felt like I had to convince her to cut my hair. She didn’t move my hair around at all and I had to change my part to have her trim the front a bit more, which was another reason I felt like she probably rarely cuts female hair. No styling but left hair free which was nice. I’m still shocked that I paid $ 30 plus tip for a haircut that didn’t include at least a shampoo! I really hope the hair gets donated… while the lady that cut my hair seemed excited about it, the lady at the front desk was less than enthusiastic about it. I’m not sure that I will go back.

Dominique took great care of me with rich color and a new look. The shop is clean and friendly with helpful staff and the owner on site and with a smile. It was worth the trip.
