I went there since their open first month. The owner is so kind and friendly. I always goes there every week and order their house special Phở. Compare to Golden Bowl, their beef soup is better!

I have never been so disappointed by Unilocal reviews. At 6pm on a Sunday night they said that they had run out of most of their menu items. The medium phở had only a few pieces of meat and looked really sad and plain; the taste was mediocre. They also had old dishes stacked on top of a table the entire time we were eating. The waiter was a nice kid but the whole dinner was sub-par.

Don’t want to diss these folks unfairly, but this is more of the kind of place you might expect to find in the larger cities to the South. My experience here(with their seafood noodle soup at least was one of the less palatable versions I’ve ever had, with tough seafood and water like broth, on the other hand I may have ordered incorrectly… Seafood might be the second choice for most out here, and perhaps it’s to be expected?(I hope not) The good news was that when I ordered some crispy shrimp spring rolls…(they only have the vegetable ones made up) They kindly offered roll a couple up for me if I didn’t mind waiting a bit, they did, and fried them up, piping hot … Now that was good ! Still for me only an” I’ve experienced better 2 * stars’ its a well-intentioned, family run effort, set in a pretty difficult environment & I can understand the affection the regulars show for this place with their uniform praise, so I hope they wont mind my honest review, Other dishes may be better, So if your a local give them a try.

I can’t even begin with this place OMG! I am down in New Hampshire for work from California and was not expecting much from this place… But boy was I mistaken! It was delicious with a capital D!!! I got the vegetable phở and the broth was excellent tasted like she whipped up dinner at her house for her own family! I wish I could have finished the whole bowl… Or pack it up and take my left overs to California with me. She also brought out a bowl of bok choy in some kind of broth to add to our soup and that could have been a meal in itself! I will be craving this place on my way back home. Candy the owner was just as sweet as her name and you all are lucky to have her and an establishment in your city! Now can you open one up in California?

I love phở and have eaten it in many cities. This place has the best phở, the broth is delicious! We were warmly greeted by Candy as she poured us tea. Candy was our waitress and the chef all in one. She was kind and sweet, what a gem this place is. When visiting Manchester in the future this will be on the top of the list of places to eat!

My first time ever experiencing Phở and I’m incredibly glad that it was this place. It was fantastic! A small place but the food is great! The broth is amazing, the noodles are fantastic, and the vegetables are fresh! The tea is tasty as well and I highly recommend getting a limeade.

I stopped in here one evening for a bowl of Phở Ga. It was a very cold evening out, and when I walked in, the restaurant also felt very cold. I was greeted by Candy. I remarked at how cold the restaurant was — she immediately adjusted the thermostat and warmed the place up. I ordered the Spring rolls and Phở Ga(large). I always eat my rolls and Phở with a lot of Sriracha sauce. Candy saw this and diced up some hot chilies and threw them into my bowl of Phở to spice things up. The rolls were very good and were very fresh. The Phở was interesting — she adds ingredients into her Phở that you don’t see in Phở joints in the Washington, DC area(such as carrots, broccoli, and some sort of asian radish). Overall the broth was tasty, it was steaming away when she brought it out. The one thing I will ding her on — she told me she gave me extra noodles. It was to much. I could not eat them all — and so wasted some food. I could have used some more of the chicken broth — it was very tasty! I was the only customer in the place for a little while, so Candy came over and sat down at my table with me to talk to me while I sampled the Phở. It was at that point I introduced myself and asked her — her name. She said«Candy» and also handed me a business card. At this point some other diners arrived, so she sprung into action to take care of her customers. A nice little Vietnamese/Phở place! Check them out! Enjoyable!

I have been here multiple times, this is a much needed restaurant in Manchester. Candy is a very kind owner and a good cook, I am not exaggerating. I want to see the restaurant grow and be the best in town. Let me talk about the food now, which is my favorite part. The menu is simple with around 5 appetizers and less than 10 noodle soups. Phở Chay is vegetable noodle soup with tofu, this has vegetable broth. Phở Rau Cai is vegetable noodle soup too but it is not made with vegetable broth. If you are vegan/vegetarian, go with Phở Chay! They have medium and large bowls, I found medium more than enough even when I was hungry. Hot tea is served instead of water and there are about 3 – 4 sauces including Sriracha and ground chilli in soya bean oil. Ground chilli is pretty hot, be careful with the amount you use! Vegetable spring rolls were refreshing and with the amount of sauce options anything will taste good. Customer service is very impressive. Today I got complimentary special vegetable roll(last time it was lemonade) and I felt like I was back home with kindness filled around. It seems that I am supposedly the best customer?!? Candy insisted and gave me a ride home after lunch. She reminds me of my chef aunt back home who used to cook different things and force feed me(which I loved, obviously).

I’m a Washington DC transplant(MoCo MD) and I was missing phở. I found this wonderful restaurant on Unilocal and I was not disappointed. I ordered medium bowl #1 and garden rolls. The staff made me feel so welcome. It was a late lunch for me and I enjoyed the conversation very much. I will be back! Perfect food for a chilly day and also surprisingly satisfying on a warm day(from past experience). If you’ve never tried it, you really should. It can be summarized as beef noodle soup when meat is involved, but the flavor is a new experience for the uninitiated. And since starting this draft review I have been back and I can see the quality and service is consistent!

I tried Saigon Noodles from the first time tonight. It’s really excellent. I had their special. The broth is very rich and nicely seasoned. The meats are tender and the noodles are delicious. I will be back

If your looking for amazing soup this place is it, Phở Sho! This is literally is the best Phở my husband and I have ever had in New England. He had been to Vietnam and said this is real authentic Phở. We both had the Phở Ga(Chicken Noodle) and the broth was so full of flavor. I wore my hair down and it was getting in my soup and the sweet little lady in the kitchen came and pulled my hair back with a rubber band. They were so hospitable, kind and are amazing cooks. Check this place out, you won’t be disappointed!

This place. Oh my word. This was the best Asian meal I’ve ever had… my husband and I were blown away with how good it was. It’s located in what used to be Mad Bob’s on Lincoln Street, which was pretty sketchy. Candy, the owner/waitress/chef, did a ton of work on this place. It’s certainly not fancy, but what it lacks in ambiance is made up for in food and Candy’s warmth. What a sweetheart she is. The menu is very basic — egg rolls, spring rolls, and 8 different phở choices, along with bottled water, delicious(free) tea, and amazing limeade. The egg rolls were fabulous. The phở… oh man. The broth was light, flavorful, and aromatic, the bok choy still had a good crunch, the noodles were perfect, and all the typical fixings were clean, crisp, and fresh. We each had a medium bowl and it was huge. I can’t even accurately explain how good it was, so we cleaned our bowls even though we were stuffed. Candy sat down and visited with us, told us her story, explained how she likes to make the broth light and healthy, as opposed to some that have more fat left in. She hugged us when we were leaving… she really treats everyone like family. She IS a toucher– so don’t be put off by it. She’s an absolute doll! If you are looking for fresh, wonderful soup that warms the soul, this is your place. Phở serious.

My Significant Other and I dropped in for a late lunch yesterday. It was with great surprize that we found out we knew the owner Candy Phan. She was as charming and sweet as ever, and brought us a delightful light tea while we looked over the menu. We had the vegetarian egg roll appetizers, I went with a Tender Beef Phở, while my better(& healthier half) went with the Vegetarian Phở. We both had the medium size bowl and it was almost too much for me! Generous portions & fantastic taste do not even begin to explain it. Better yet, there was NOMSG! All of the food was made personally by the owner/“chef”. As soon as I got home, I called my daughter in Washington DC to tell her of our find. She was excited for her next trip up here as Phở is one of her favorite meals. We have been to several Phở shops in that area. Saigon Noodles Restaurant is now one of our«go-to» Restaurants!

I checked this place out upon the recommendation of a buddy who works a a shop around the corner. The owner/chef, Candy, greeted me as I walked in and treated me as if I was an honored guest. The menu is simple: phở, spring rolls, and tea or fresh limeade to drink. The only other option is how big a bowl do you want. I chose the medium which is good sized. A large could probably feed two people easily. The food arrived quickly and at the perfect temperature. Simple, clean flavors soon filled my mouth. Candy explained that it was her aunt’s recipe to which she had put her own tweaks on. This place has only been open a couple of months, but if she maintains the high quality it will be open for a long time.

A bowl of heaven! Combination of broth, fresh rice noodles, beef or chicken, with a sprinkle of aromatic herbs. Simple in execution yet enormously complex in flavor!

Such a great addition to Manchester! Simple Phở made the way it’s supposed to be! Nothing else«Asian» on the menu. They do one thing and do it perfectly. The owner is lovely and caring and makes everything herself. Enjoy!

Delicious! Don’t bother going to the other phở restaurant in town, this is where to go. The owner was so sweet and made us feel like we were in her home. We were given tea when we sat down in a cute tea pot. We started with the egg rolls. They were delicious! We had the special beef phở and the beef meatball phở. Both were phở… nomenon. Sorry I couldn’t resist. We will be back! Small restaurant with 5 tables made it quite quaint. Not much ambience but the owner more than makes up for that.
