Reflection Cove Apartments

Terrible place! They lie to you and make you believe you’re going to live in a «luxury» apartment complex. It’s far from luxury. The apartments are «newly renovated» and they sure do charge you for these renovations. The management is terrible. They do what the want when they want. The screwed us over and are making us pay a penalty fee for breaking our lease after not completing any of our maintenance requests, complaints about noise from the upstairs neighbors, the abundance of geese and the insane spider webs outside the whole apartment. Not to mention, the entire bedroom window was cracked when we moved in, all the screens were broken and the dryer wasn’t even hooked up to a vent to let the hot air out, to name a few.
Renter beware. They have someone moving into our apartment not even a full week after we left. Within our little apartment complex of 8 apartments, 6 have changed out since July. I don’t think that’s enough time to get all of the apartment cleaned and fixed up.
Beware when looking into reflection court!

This place is marketed as «luxury» and it is anything but. My husband I moved from out of state and we were prepared for a downsize in space, coming from a nice two bedroom. The leasing office succeeded at pulling the wool over our eyes when marketing the unit. It has exactly one tiny closet and no space for storing any belongings. There is no space for extra linens, dry food, or even for both of our clothing. We had no choice but to spend extra money on shelving and clothing racks to make the place livable.
The bathtub is stained a dark grey color and there was drywall dust all over the vanity and floor. We were told the unit had been cleaned the day before our arrival. There is trash all over the grounds and it consistently ends up in the bushes outside our patio. There is no railing on the bottom floor patios so people are regularly parking and walking right in front of our unit. It’s terribly intrusive and causes a lot of privacy issues.
The walls in the units are very thin. We can hear our neighbors every move. We also seems to have a young kid living in the next building. He regularly drives his truck up onto the sidewalk creating large ruts in the ground and has left music playing in the cab late into the night. Which of course, can be heard out our window as the parking lot basically sits on top of our patio. Police, firetrucks, and an ambulance showed up last weekend, wheeling him out on a stretcher. We can only assume what transpired.
The landscaping of the complex is minimal and lazy. There is dog poop covering nearly every grassy area, making it a chore to take a walk around the grounds.
We had a conversation with the staff about not being happy with the unit and brought up our concerns shortly after move-​in. After asking what our options were, we were told we had none but to spend more money and move into a bigger unit… right next door. Space isn’t the issue anymore, this complex is way overpriced and leaves much to be desired. After reading through every line of the lease, we’re trapped.
Potential renters, beware. This place isn’t as it seems.

Horrible management, horrible insulation in the buildings, hot tub doesn’t work right, grounds are filthy. Way too expensive for what you get in return treatment. Break ins occur quite often, see the police and fire department are on site weekly. They have rules on the size of pets but never follow the rules. Look at other properties and compare rates, safety and demographics there are tons of nicer complex’s.
