Prudhomme Vision

I have had two visits in the last year+. Jeremy is thorough, professional, and attentive. He’s quite personable and doesn’t show any of the character armor that is often found among health professionals. Overall, I have been very pleased with both him and his office.

About 2 years ago I had a terrible experience with a new Optometrist. It frankly left me sour with the whole profession. I feel sorry you can’t compete with online contact retailers but do you really need to surprise your patients with fees as a result?
Anyways, shortly before a trip to Jamaica I realized I was out of contacts! No contacts = no sunglasses. I definitely wasn’t heading back to the place that pushed over priced, back-​order only contacts on me two years ago. So I did what everyone troubled American does: rely on a brand. I figured Lens Crafters would be able to accommodate a same day appointment and maybe have my contacts in stock.
I was able to get an appointment same day at the Buckland Hills Mall location. When I arrived I was told that the Optometrists at Lens Crafters are actually independent business, ok??? (I am at this point super skeptical and wary of the Optometrist trade.) I finally sit down with the Dr. and go on the offensive; asking about fees and confirming that I’ll be able to get at least 3 weeks worth of sealed sample contacts that day etc. etc. What ensues is one of the best customer experiences of my life!
Jeremy took great care of me, told me I didn’t even need the overpriced contacts the other place had pushed on me. He then counseled me on the pros and cons of single day and multi-​day contacts. It never occurred to me you could have both depending on your wearing habits. I eventually left with 2 pairs of 2 week contacts and a weeks worth of single day contacts so I could try them out and see which works best for ME. (Despite the intense likely hood I’ll order which ever I choose online) Jeremy single handedly redeemed his entire profession in my eyes and I highly recommend him.
