The service was excellent. Quick, attentive and polite. The food was very good. We tried the New England Clam Chowder which was really good — plants of clams and creamy. The chicken wings were crisp in the outside. We tried the buffalo which were very well spiced and the garlic Parmesan which were also well seasoned. The burgers were very good. Nice selection of beers. We had a great table in the bar. It was a perfect stop after shopping all day.

Mulligans appeared a bit bougie from the menu and outer appearance, but my experience was a bit underwhelming. We had a group of eleven and they were able to accommodate us in the back room with a reservation without incident. The clam chowder was fantastic. When in New England, do as the New Englanders do… right? I also tried a «Beefalo» burger and hated it. They suggest getting it no more than medium rare which is what I ordered, but when it came out I swear the burger was still mooing. I sent it back to sit a little longer on the grill which they had no issue with but I couldn’t bring myself to finish it. My table mates had positive experiences with the Shepherd’s Pie, the Ramen Noodle dishes among other things so your mileage may vary! As for the ambience, the decorations are a hodgepodge of mounted animal heads, old military regalia, portraits of people from history you have to look up to recognize and overall very dark lighting. There is some obvious Boston sports pictures and decorations as well which seems standard for the area. What I will say is that our service was excellent. The waiter was very attentive to a large group and had some funny quips as well. Can only give it two stars due to my experience but don’t let that shy you away from trying this place out next time you’re in Manchester!

Food is great. Drinks specials were awesome. The manager was so wonderful. BUTCHUCK, our server gave us terrible service making us feel uncomfortable and discriminated against(we are all minorities obviously in the dominantly white restaurant) from the start. Whenever we would try to get his attention he would walk away instead of listen to us and he complained about splitting our checks. After confronting him because of his bad service to the manager he proceeded to reprimand us and rudely questioned our review. It ruined our experience at Mulligan’s overall.

Mulligans Pub offers mostly pub food but with daily specials that bring it above the standards pub. I had the works burger with buffalo meat, and it was excellent. I am a French fry snob, and didn’t care for their fries as they are thin– I prefer heartier ones. Great selection of local beers. I found the waitress pleasant enough– not too overbearing, but attentive. I was dining alone, and have found that wait staff don’t quite know how to interact with someone eating alone. That said, the waitress at Mulligans was great. Place filled with people within the hour I was there.

Huge portions no matter what you order! I had the fish and chips which was excellent! My friends had the burger which was huge as well and very tasty. The dessert portions were well worth the price and probably the best desserts anywhere in town we have the cheesecake and the brownie sundae.

This places defines less than mediocre. The 1 and only positive is the patriots are beating dallas and they have excellent tv coverage. If you want food go somewhere else.

This is a fantastic place to grab a bite and a Vermont brew. Tonight’s soup, Butternut Apple Bisque, was UNBELIEVABLY amazing(the Clam Chowder was pretty great too). The Von Trapp Amber was excellent with a perfectly medium rare beefalo burger. We were glad we stopped for excellent, friendly service at five star bar/pub!

We stopped by Mulligans for lunch after a morning of shopping and enjoyed our simple meal. We shared fish & chips and a French Dip sandwich; both were delicious, and so were the crispy fries served with both(and dill pickle spears, too). Regrettably, the cole slaw wasn’t homemade and had way too much mayonnaise for our taste. Our server was courteous, the service was quick, and the prices were fair. The restaurant has a comfortable, dark, woody bar with a good selection of craft beers. The dining areas are spread out through the house. A nice place, a good experience, we’ll be back.

Excellent lunch. Place looks like a pub, has a menu like a pub but the food tastes like hand made with superior ingredients. French dip, wings, clam chowder, hamburger etc

We were given the choice of the tavern side or the dining side and since the tavern had tvs, we chose that. It was noisy(we were warned and I’m sure if we asked to switch, we could have). We had the reuben and a piece of cheesecake. Both were good… nothing too wow. Our server was nice, food came out fast. Decaf coffee was fresh which is rare. Overall good, solid.

We stopped in after an afternoon of hiking up to Prospect Rock. Beautiful spot. We chose to sit in the pub and were seated quickly and given the drink menu. They had a nice selection of craft beer on tap. We all had the shock top summer ale. I chose the Bangers and mashed(when in Mulligan’s) my wife had the fried oysters and my sister in-law had a nice chicken club sandwich. All selections were very well done. No room for dessert although the selection looked great. Many daily specials. We’ll be back.

Nothing special. Nice building but the food was just ok. A little bit pricey for what you get. Not sure it’s worth the detour

4 stars goes out to their applewood smoked wings. 3 stars for meatloaf that was good and hit the spot but nothing special and a bit too spicy actually. If we had more time, I’d definitely hit their happy hour that features $ 0.40 wings!

Been coming to Mulligan’s for over 10 years and never did a review, so here it goes. We usually sit in the bar area with for the games and family good-times. As far as a pub experience, the menu is large with burgers, sandwiches and lots of apps; all good + the beer selection is respectful. The food has not changed much over the years, but the prices certainly have. The management has really hiked-up the costs over the last 2 years or so and now Mulligans is not the local value it used to be. A small nacho, 2 sandwiches and a couple of beers for $ 70…really? That being said, Mulligan’s is a staple in Manchester and a good time. By the way, don’t forget to checkout«Man-of Kent» on Rt7 on your way to Manchester for tastier sandwiches, more sophisticated beer selection and of course better prices!

Great atmosphere for some apps and beers. Game was on with sound and they had free wings and poppers for the game. Others at the bat were respectfully enjoying themselves and bartender was attentive. Good time!

Fun bar atmosphere but not overly impressed with the food, we only had wings which were ok but our Nacho appetizer was a bit flat with cheese«over melted» as it was hard and dry, it came with plenty of salsa, sour cream, and guacamole which helped make the cheese issue more tolerable, sat at the bar where it was trivia night adding a fun flare, staff was friendly and service as timely.

We’ve noticed a trend on our vacation here… everyone, from the restaurants to the shops, seems to have a very peculiar attitude. My wife and I are easy-going and laid back… never ask for special orders, never send food back, always tip 25%+…I really don’t get it. Anyway — stopped in for lunch, and it was fine. The menu is extensive, though priced a little high(seems right for the area, though). The burgers made with local beef were good, though a little seasoning(just a little salt and pepper) would have immensely improved the dish. The waitress… well, like I said. I don’t know if people just assume that since we’re from«away» they needn’t bother to be nice, or if it’s just a regional thing. If you’re looking for a decent burger and relatively quick service(though no thoughts of asking for refills, bringing extra napkins when clearly needed, etc.) then this is fine.

We’ve been here for both lunch and dinner… and a mid afternoon snack. This is a good place to go for a meal or a drink. It’s just down the road from the Equinox or just up the road from the outlets. They have PBR on tap which is a plus; and probably should be a requirement in Manchester. Fred Pabst founded Bromley Mountain. The food here is good. I’ve gone the sandwich/burger route. Other times, we’ve split a plate of nachos. Nachos for two… it’s a lot of nachos! We took some home. There are a few different rooms you. Service was good each time we visited. They have another location at the base of Stratton Mountain. I believe they also own Whisky Dick’s; just south of the Stratton Access road. I thought I had heard the same owner owns a few places in the Cheshire/Wallingford CT area. But I couldn’t verify online. Over all a good place to grab a drink and a bite to eat. It’s a nice standby in Manchester.

Went there for dinner, and had a good meal at a fair price. This place is not going to knock your socks off, but you won’t be disappointed but the size of the menu or the quality of the food. They serve more than bar food, and everyone will find something that they like. Beer variety is good. Service tends to be fair, not great in the restaurant but better at the bar. Will def return if in the area.
