Took my cute and wonderful 16 year old daughter out on a date, after dropping off older brother at UConn… jumped into this joint for quick dinner. Located in downtown Manchester… on Main street. easy downtown parking… you walk through the crowded but polite bar crowd to get over the restaurant side… combo menu of bar food, italian entrees, and a heavy emphasis on their pizza… princess ordered pasta and a monster meatball, and I have a small pizza with eggplant and onion… food was spot on… pizza sauce slightly bland for me… service, efficient and friendly… I’d be a regular if lived close by…

I’ve been here several times for their pizza, which is wonderful. Even my husband, who is VERY picky when it comes to pizza loves this place. Their pizza isn’t too greasy, even the Gladiator is covered in meat and isn’t dripping in grease. I also love the atmosphere. I’m looking forward to eating in their outdoor seating area with friends. The service is also great I recently went to an event where Mulberry was doing desserts and everything was so delicious. They had some delightful little number with a mousse and strawberries that I couldn’t get enough of. I usually don’t save room for dessert when I come, but I definitely will next time.

Charming place with an old fashioned feel. Loved the Gladiator pizza! Thin crust loaded with delish meats and crispy on the edges! Yum!

I felt the pizza was a okay. I usually go to Flatbread pizza & Naples pizza, and was hoping the pizza would be better than there, but that’s my opinion. I tried chicken wings but wasn’t impressed at all, I felt they were a bit fatty. I am used to Beachland tavern’s kitchen sink wings, so may be I was looking for a different taste. 1 star for fresh Guinness and 1 star for good service and 1 star for food. Thanks

Mulberry street is awesome! Great place to meet up with a group of friends or family. It is a LIVE spot to be. A lot of people and loud surroundings. The restaurant is located on main st in manchester– great location. Parking is either on the street or there is a parking lot across from the restaurant that usually has open spots. It is definitely crowded in the evening and busy in the afternoon as well. The bar gets packed late night but its a very fun atmosphere. They have a great business going. They do a fantastic job of putting forward the Italian feel for this restaurant — pizza, pasta etc. Their nachos are great and customary, they add mangos to them — a delicious addition. The salads are good — I recommend the caesar. My family always orders the buffalo wings and the mussels! Both are delicious. As for the service, the waiters/bartenders are all friendly and outgoing. Overall, job well done mulberry! I will be back!

Been here 1ce and will be returning soon! Gladiator pizza… ask for well done if you like the char on the crust… we do! The shoestring style onion rings are very nice… specially when you compliment them with angry shrimp(can do with a lot more anger than the sweet love though)!! We are going back again this week for their wings… they just looked so appealing!!! But alas we were stuffed with the gladiator all meat well done pizza… mulberrys here we come again! The next couple of times we visited… I must say… We loved it as much!!! Consistently scrumptiously delicious food that never fails to impress and satisfy!

This was my first time trying Mulberry street pizza. It gets 3 stars because my boyfriend loved the pizza. I don’t often eat pizza so I ordered pasta. I ordered the pasta a la vodka with sausage and it was very disappointing. There was no sauce at all. It was basically dry, but cooked, pasta with 2 sausage links. I even added sun-dried tomatoes and crushed red pepper after tasting it and being disappointed and it did little to help the lack of sauce. The bread they sent as a side was delicious however. I have to admit after paying 17.00 for this pasta dish I barely ate any of it. Updated on 4⁄11 I have to commend the owner on his customer service relations! He messaged me right away regarding my review and was genuinely concerned that I didn’t have the best experience! It was a take out experience so I plan to go there and eat in sometime soon. The owner was also nice enough to credit the pasta dish so that I can enjoy it again. Thank you Bob and Mulberry street pizza! I will be back :-)

Everything was as it should be tonight –bartender and server were great, pizza and salad were spot on ! Don’t mind waiting 30 minutes for a table with the great music they were playing in the bar. Fresh flowers on the table is s nice touch !

Really enjoy eating here. Usually end up here on a busy Saturday night with a large group of friends and we order ridiculous amounts of food. That being said we usually get seated fairly quickly and are always tended to meticulously. There serving sizes are up to my standards and I love to eat. If you’re in the mood to be different, go out on a limb and try the peanut butter ginger wings. They are out of this world and will pleasantly surprise you.

After hearing all my friends tell me that I have to try the pizza here, I finally gave it a try! I came in for lunch. Great atmosphere with amazing staff! We started out with the fried onion rings, it was very well seasoned and was a big portion for an appetizer. For the entrée we shared the chicken saltimbocca. It came with 2 pieces of chicken with mash potatoes, sautéed veggies and topped it off was a delicate sauce. What really amazed me was their pizza! We ended up ordering«the gladiator» and I will DEFINITELY come back for their pizza! I would have to say it was the best pizza I’ve had in my life, and I’m not exaggerating. The brick oven style pizza is hand made, and can be seen when your sitting down in the dinning room!

Had them deliver to the Fairfield Inn in Manchester. We ordered 10 cheese pies. Asked if they could have the pies delivered at 4:45 and they were right on time. The pizza is thin crust and delicious. We had left overs which we brought home and I’m eating some now! Also delicious cold! Definitely a must try.

a.k.a «The Mulb» I had been eying this popular Manchester destination for a while now and finally gotta have lunch here with a friend today. I have often noticed that the place gets crowded in the evenings, but lunch hour was pretty busy too. As u walk in you’ll find urself in the bar area… which is nice if ur catching a game/drink with a buddy or even by urself, also nested within is a seated dining space, if u want to get more comfortable… which over looks the kitchen. I must say the pizza was really really good… thin crust, crunchy without being chewy nor did it fold or sop. A lil more base sauce would be nice. Yes! they offer pizza by the slice. The tequila vinaigrette salad was fresh. topped with crushed tortilla chips and bits of cheese… portion sizes are large. The staff are casual and friendly. The service is slooooow. Pricing is fair. For those who like some Fun facts: The owners chose the name Mulberry because of Manchester’s well known Cheney Mills, where the silkworms would eat mulberry leaves.

Outstanding, is the best word to describe Mulberry Street pizza. I have ordered take out many times but never ate in house. My first time eating in the restaurant, I was blown away from the start, the professionalism of the staff right down to the owner going to each table and asking about the meal which is barely scene in chain restaurants. The place is busy and to me that’s how it should be. That being said, you can’t rush art or you’ll never get a masterpiece and in my opinion Mulberry Street’s food is just that, a skillfully crafted masterpiece. The fact that they take the time making the food from scratch makes coming here an absolute treat! Mulberry will continue to have my business in the future! –Drew

Usually when I’m out and about in Manchester and I want pizza, it’s going to be at Frank Pepe’s. That’s sometimes inconvenient dealing with traffic around the mall, especially if coming from across town. Now I’ve found another excellent option… Mulberry Street Pizza! Visited for the first time recently with friends on a busy Friday night. The bar was packed, the dining room was packed and there was a wait. We toughed it out though, because from where we were standing we could see the pizza making operation in full swing. The experience of the pizzamaster was obvious, he looked like he had been doing it for decades and could probably have done it blindfolded! Salads and some lemon pepper wings for appetizers. The wings were heaaaaaavy on the garlic, completely overpowered the lemon flavor. Was hoping the pizza wouldn’t let me down like the wings did… and it did not. Thin crust, perfect cook with a great amount of char. Not too oily, the cheese and tomato sauce with the chewy crust was amazing. Burnt my mouth trying to eat it while it was too hot… just couldn’t stop. Had plenty of leftovers for the next day, which was difficult with the burned roof of my mouth still being raw and painful… but that didn’t stop me. I was looking forward to the leftovers for lunch from the minute I got out of bed. One thing to note; this place is REALLY loud when it’s crowded. The dining room is intimate, the bar is right through the doorway… it’s not someplace you’re going to sit down and have a quiet meal or conversation. But, you know what, the place wouldn’t be so loud if it wasn’t popular and wouldn’t be so popular if the pizza wasn’t on point! The pizza quality easily overshadows the wait, the loud, and the garlicky wings. 5 stars!

So last Sunday I stopped at Mulberry at about 4pm ish. I picked up a take out for wings and a medium onions and peppers. When I arrived home I was receiving a call with a message already on my phone from Mulberry. Saying they gave me the wrong pizza. They very quickly delivered the right one to my house and let me keep the one they originally gave me(for obvious reasons). This shows how great these guys are. Most places would not do that. Thank you to the whole staff for being great people and food service workers. By the way the mash pizza I got by mistake was incredible.

Just one of those oh snap, I forgot to review, 4 solid stars Weve been(take out) a few times as the ‘find the good pizza’ game was been going on since we moved to this part of town last year. the issue i always had as, i live in glastonbury, my pizza should also be from gbury, well folks, not the case. its a good traditional Neapolitan pie, no issues. they of course have a sit down section and a full bar, both of which would be great to go to, if, IF! we we solo, but we arent, so im getting my pie to go, which next time we want one, will likely be soon. paku paku

I wish Mulberry Street Pizza had better service because then I would eat here more often. I tried it for the first time this past weekend and am very disappointed with their service. There was a wait on the night we went, not a big deal given it was a holiday weekend plus a UConn game night too. We were told the wait is going to be 20 – 25 minutes but we ended up waiting over half an hour. But I was OK with that. Now here’s what bugs me, after waiting over 30 minutes to be seated you would think that the servers are on their A-game. That was not the case. Our server did not apologize for the wait(nor did she ever smile once). We placed our order immediately, as soon as she asked us for drinks. And we didn’t see the food, or her, for another 35 minutes! So in total, we were waiting over an hour for food! And I would have been totally fine with that if she just put on her game face, came over to our table, and warned us about the wait with an apology. Am I being totally unreasonable? I come from a restaurant family and was a server once too, I understand that wait times are uncontrollable. But I’m unable to comprehend the lack of courtesy displayed by said server. I wanted to like you Mulberry, I really did. You seem like a local hotspot and I wanted to blend in with my fellow townspeople. But when I eat out, it’s about the complete experience so couldn’t you guys just be nicer? Again, it’s not about the wait but the service. Even if you have to fake it till you make it. All jokes aside, we should not have to feel abandoned as paying customers just because our food is taking long.

I don’t know how I have yet to write a review for Mulberry as we’ve been patronzing this restaurant for many years now. Due to the cramped and crowded inside, I have never actually eaten in this restaurant but the pizza is amazing! We often just order cheese and pepperoni because to me there is nothing quite like a good cheese pizza. However, their«blockbusters» — which are their specialty pizzas with fun toppings are pretty good. My personal favorite is the«Wizard of Oz» which is buffalo chicken, blue cheese and roasted red peppers. Nom nom nom! Additionally, as weird as it sounds, the peanut butter ginger wings are out of this world. Meet me at the mulb(for takeout, preferably)!!
