I chose Miller’s because I liked the careful measuring and layout planning during the estimate for a brand new window installation, such as making sure the sizes of the windows would match others and line up aesthetically on the outside of the house — other bidders didn’t give much thought to layout. Workmanship was as expected, they spent effort to keep the work area clean during the installation process. They clearly knew what they were doing. Slight negative was I had to wait several weeks for an installation slot after contract because it is a family operation. The trim used was only moderate quality, but it matched the rest of the trim in the house. Miller sells ViWinco Cambridge series windows. ViWinco windows Cambridge series is the best series that ViWinco makes, but ViWinco is known as a lower end window manufacturer, so I consider the Cambridge to be a upper-mid grade window overall. The windows are better than the rest of my builder-grade windows that tend to leak cold air on windy winter days. The Cambridge windows don’t leak cold air that I can detect. The windows have been installed for almost a year with no problems. I would use Miller’s again.
