Margies Dream is unbelievable. It has the best food and service. I come here every time I go out to breakfast. My favorite is the omelet with bacon sausage and American cheese with a side of shredded hash browns well done. Margies may be small but it is the best breakfast place in town!

My wife and I wanted to try someplace new for breakfast, and other Unilocalers clearly enjoy it so we decided to try it. The place is small, maybe about ten tables, and five counter seats. The place was short-staffed today, so there was only one waitress(the owner I believe) on staff running around taking orders, delivering food, making coffee, doing dishes… She was having a rough day, but still managed to keep a smile on her face, and apologized to us for the wait. Being Memorial Day, we were in no hurry. Sure, we waited longer for our food than we were expecting, but hey, sometimes staff calls out. That’s business. She handled it extremely well. Our food was absolutely amazing! We both got omelets, some of the most flavorful we’ve ever had! Everything was fresh and perfectly cooked. Even the coffee was superb. Highly recommend this hidden gem!

We have visited about a half a dozen times and keep coming back for the florentine benedict and potato pancakes. These items are consistently delicious. The only reason why they don’t get more stars is due to the limited seating and parking. We haven’t been in for lunch but plan to at some point given the positive experiences we have had during our breakfast visits thus far. Just stopped in this morning for breakfast. They had one waitress serving the entire restaurant. Waited over ten minutes for a table and after we sat down we waited at least another ten minutes while we watched people that were sat after us have their orders taken and coffees served. We heard the waitress say that they thought they wouldn’t have anyone come in today for the holiday which I guess is why they had one waitress serving the entire restaurant. We couldn’t justify waiting any longer since we were up to a ½ hour at that point. Waitress said, «Sorry guys» as we left with no attempt to encourage us to stay. We’re on to find another restaurant.

Dream plate, Eggs were cooked to my asking, bacon was fresh fried, sausage was really tasty and cooked perfect. Pancakes were good, The spices in the potato pancakes was great, I think I tasted sourcream. Great ambient atmosphere! 5 stars all the way.

I was in town for Business, and went to my trusty Unilocal app. I ended up at Margies. I had the Irish Benedict. It was AMAZING!!! The service and banter among the staff made the experience feel like I was at my hometown diner.

First time here. Woke up in Manchester looking for a breakfast/brunch place to enjoy some good food before heading back home. Let’s just say I’m happy I chose this place. Delicious food and great friendly staff. Can’t wait for my next trip to Manchester.

A real hidden gem off the beaten path. Usually go there on Sunday mornings for take out service and it’s always good! It’s always busy… which is a good sign. I would recommend Margie’s over Red Arrow ANY day of the week.

Went here today on a whim with a friend; loved it immediately; This diner has a very«neighborhood-y» feel; most customers seem to be regulars, as the waitstaff just knew everybody by name and was happy to see each new person coming in. I was welcomed immediately by Tayce(sorry if I wrecked the spelling on this one, sweetheart) had an awesome personality. The service was fast and delicious; and again waitstaff personable and happy; it must be a nice place to work, because I waited tables for years and never felt like that. Great vibe to this place; it felt like home. I had a scramble with great home fries hollandaise sauce and rye toast; very simple menu, but all delicious food. I will be back here very soon!!!

Super delicious. We went here after going to an event at the Verizon arena. It was a bit of a challenge to get to… we walked from our hotel, but it was a beautiful morning, so ended up being fine. We were lucky to get a booth and had a delicious breakfast. Great local joint.

I’ve only been to Margie’s Dream once(I don’t go out much for breakfast) but I wasn’t dissapointed. I didn’t even know this place was there and I only live a block away, I decided to try it out after I drove by one time and saw the sign. The food was exactly what I was looking for, I had a eggs benedict with steak instead of ham. the portion size and price was perfect and the service was very friendly.

Best place ever. First time we went, we sat at the counter of the place. I felt do welcomed and was invited into conversations. The food was easy to pick out as it seemed to dance about my head. The latkas(potato pancakes), we’re simply to die for. Infused with cheese and bacon-who could resist?! Even my husband who is Jewish couldn’t stop eating them! I had the steak tip, omelet. Heavenly. The veggies were steamed to perfection, the cheese doused them richly and the egg itself so fluffy and welcoming. I enjoyed every bite! Second time we went I had the veggie omelet with pepper jack cheese. Fantasic. It reminded me of home. Small town, local people, local goods and local stuff in the paper mats. It was clean appearance wise, chef was Fantasoc as well as the two ladies. We give 100% tips of the cost– because we feel so welcomed and at home. Every weekend we’ll be going!

Away from home on business looking for a diner. I was going to go to another very popular diner but decided to skip the crowd and come here. They except credit cards except for Amex. Caught a cute little place. At first I was indecisive as to what to order: lunch or breakfast. I went with the breakfast. At the suggestion of the waitress I ordered scrambled eggs with kielbasa and potato pancakes. I had to discipline myself to savor each bite, it was THAT good. Eggs cooked perfect. A golden brown kielbasa tasted great. For me the potato pancakes were the star of this breakfast. Cooked crispy on the outside, inside a mixture of potato cheddar and bacon bits, oh my! I washed it all down with a cup of good coffee and a glass of water. Great food, great service.

I just wish this place was better, our visit was a very mixed affair. Even with the mostly good reviews here, our selections were only fair to poor. My Greek omelet was pretty fair. My wife’s spinach pie was the shocker. Warmed up in the microwave, the pie lacked flavor and obviously was not fresh. We should have been warned by our waitress, a bad miss here. For a nice local business, which we prefer to patronize, I hope Margie can do better.

This is where I wish Unilocal would allow half star ratings or go on a 1 – 10 scale. Margie’s Dream would be a 3.5, I rounded down because the 4 star rating is a little misleading in my opinion. The Good Irish Eggs Benedict was good, portions were good, Prices were good, Service was attentive and pleasant, Wait was not long, parking was easy The Bad The location is fairly sketchy and the atmosphere is dated If i lived closer I would go back, If you are already IN the area definitely worth checking out.

Margie’s has ruined us for all other eggs benedict. I know, if you have read reviews of Margie’s elsewhere(not on Unilocal for some reason, though), probably three-quarters are talking about the eggs benedict and I’m sure you’d like to read about something else, but no seriously. THEEGGSBENEDICT. Yes, the coffee is good, pancakes are good, potato pancakes are yummy, other food they serve is generally pretty solid(and since this is New Hampshire, even the tiniest hole-in-the-wall type place will serve *real* maple syrup if you ask for it, which is a huge bonus in my book) — but guys. THEEGGSBENEDICT. We went here semi-regularly for brunch when we were living in the area. Brought my parents a couple of times and they enjoyed it too. It’s super tiny and a little out of the way for brunch but even when there’s a wait it isn’t usually a long one. The owner and staff are friendly and the service was always good. The only complaint is that parking can sometimes be tricky(there aren’t many spots along the street, and the area lots are permit-only), but even that wasn’t usually too much of a hassle. Living elsewhere now and we definitely miss Margie’s!
