Spent a couple nights here over Memorial Day weekend. Bartender is a sweetheart who gives a good pour. Friendly crowd, good jukebox, great selection of liquors. Sunday Karaōke was so fun! As we were getting ready to leave, the waiter/busser roped me into unwelcome conversation, which then turned bizarre, then straight up hostile. I’m pretty sure he was wasted.(Wait staff drinking on the job is a thing?) Other than that, good times to be had at Element Lounge! Looking forward to our next visit. xoxo

Local gay dive-bar, owned by older gay couple. Good drinks if you get the right person. Can be catty and I was denied to go inside(from outdoor chair and table area on sidewalk) with my service dog to use the bathroom. I was assured it would never happen again, but I still get the evil eye and watered down drinks since, IF I even bother when I’m in town. Mediocre DJWHENTHERE. Sunday’s used to be mediocre karaōke night and there is sometimes a «bag night» on Wednesdays, hosted by a hilarious drag queen, Wilma and there is s chance for free drinks and possibly adult toys in the mystery bags… best time I ever had there(I gave away the dildo w/SUCTION CUP, lol! There is a pool table and a handful of raised tables/chairs, there’s a little dance floor and a back room they’ve also opened up for dancing where the pool table used to be. Very dark atmosphere, coupled with immature, unprofessional service/management, I’d maybe meet up with friends as a pre-party evening starter, but any more then an hour I start to feel claustrophobic and like I need a shower, inside and out. Great place to meet random hook-ups or blind dates, not where is frequent or hold an event there by any means.

Great time for a Sunday! Karaōke is on tonight, definitely the best we’ve been too in this area.(First night, work thing in the morning) The drinks are very strong, if this says anything I only had one.

I understand that The Element Lounge is closing its doors soon. It’s certainly not due to location, presentation or service– it’s in an ideal location, it has an upscale look and service there is friendly and professional. The concept of a stand-alone gay bar for its own sake seems to becoming more of an unsustainable business model. Those that loved it, loved it well, but clearly not enough loved it to keep it going.

A few weeks ago, my boyfriend and I, along with a friend, were passing by, looking for a place with a pool table and cheap drinks. There was an empty table sitting in the window, and while we poked our heads around, trying to peek inside, the lady outside the door said«$ 2 drafts! Come on in!» Sold! It was pretty great. Nice and clean on the inside, there’s an area with a stage and a dancefloor, though it wasn’t being used that evening. The pool table was open, so no need for quarters, and the jukebox had 23 credits sitting in it, so free music all night too! Drinks were cheap and good, we had a great time. That being said, none of us were ever aware this was a gay lounge until I looked Element Lounge up on Unilocal,so I can’t really speak to the scene. All I know is we had a good time and would go back again.

The night I went it was crowded and it was a good time. There were All different types of people there. There was no dance floor open the night I went but it was still fun. The bartenders were nice and the owner was there helping behind the bar. The owner is friendly, the bar is comfortable with cushioned chairs and the drinks were good.

This is a nice local gay lounge to get a drink after work. The people here are friendly and nice.

In deep contrast to a nearby gay bar, the crowd was pretty attractive(as a whole) on my Wednesday night visit. But, the staff were deeply inaccessible emotionally — meaning they were unfriendly. Would’ve been nice to find affable bartenders to go with the brighter/shinier clientele. Oh well.

Very friendly staff and one of the best Ketol One Dirty Martini’s around! Came early on a Saturday night and it was a bit dead, but they are also closing for renovations. Looking forward to checking it out again when it reopens on July 3rd. Good music in the dance floor.

I can only comment on Sunday karaōke(4−8pm). haven’t had a chance to get to the Element any other night. While karaōke is always an odd experience, Kristi brings a high level of energy that you have to love. 7÷12÷2008 — As I understand it, Kristi is no longer doing the Sunday karaōke.
