El Patron

From my past reviews you will probably get the impression that I’m a really harsh critic. Hopefully it’s not taken lightly when I say how much I love this place.
Don’t let the neighborhood, that it’s in a basement and looks like talk total dive deter you, the food is epic. You’ll probably be a bit weary when you show up (I definitely was) but sit down and order.
This place is family run and authentic. The drinks are great and the food was fantastic.
I eat gluten free and there were plenty of options.
Be sure to try the guacamole. It’s all chunky and made with oil, which I thought was a bit odd. In fact it was the best guacamole I’ve ever even imagined!
I had fajitas and my date had a burrito. We had a margarita and Patron. A complete meal to be sure.
There are pool tables and sometimes live music. Everything is in both languages and the staff was pretty awesome.
This is a great place to eat or drink and would be great for a party or gathering. There are two pool tables.
