Catsup & mustard is one of my favorite burger/sandwich restaurants. Every single one of their burgers are amazing and flavorful. Their sweet fries and maple aioli are very addicting. We usually sit at the bar or order takeout but they are my go to for lunch. The service can be sometimes slow if he bar gets busy otherwise I’d give five stars.

If you’re looking to get some quality burger in Manchester/Vernon area this is a place I definitely recommend. I’ve tried their original burger with sweet potato fries and it was really delicious. The burger was cooked to perfect ‘medium’ which was what I’ve asked. Their specialty that I suggest is their pretzel bun! you will not be disappointed because it’s so delicious with the meat! It adds the perfect amount of dough with salt that makes it really good with the burger patty. Their beer on draft was refreshing and cold and the staff was very friendly and fast! The place gets pretty busy and the wait might be little long depending on the time so I suggest you call ahead. Last time I went, they told us the wait was an hour and half(and it was a tuesday). so call ahead to ask for the wait time!

I love local places that have their own appeal and niche. I also love burgers, what a wonderful day to find myself in Catsup and Mustard. As a local server(I recently hung up my apron), I would often see C&M’s staff in my section for breakfast. So when I go to eat there, It feels like being served by a community of locals and regulars. The food is very good, I like their fries. Honestly though, the environment and the service are what keep me coming back. They get busy at dinner and on weekends and I am not always inclined to wait but that is because I am fickle, impatient and a little mean when hungry. They are worth sticking around 15 minutes or so for a table. For me to say that, it’s kind of like saying, it’s worth a 45 minute wait for a patient person. Just to give you some perspective…

A co-worker heard of this place from Triple D I believe. I went with the chicken and waffle sandwich, which was good — not great. Should have done a burger. The fries were really good and the service was ok. Wouldn’t run back but in a pinch, this is a decent spot

I got the yard goat burger and it was delicious as well as give. Dope burger. For the price this place is outstanding. I can’t forget the slaw either, it was super light and cuts the fat from the burger. Highly recommended this place.

Nice burger joint. I arrived late afternoon and it was my first time ever dinning in there! When my burger came out and I took my first bite, I was amazed by how good it was. Would deff go back and recommend! Waitress was also super nice.

First time visiting and very pleased overall. I had the Whiskey Run burger(peppercorn seared, whiskey sauce, bacon & cheese), wife had the Rodeo burger(fried shoestring onions, bbq sauce & ranch dressing). Fries are extra and I had & like the garlic-parm version. Beer selection was mostly IPA’s, but I did have & enjoyed the Black Hog Ginga Ninja. Being a Saturday night it was busy, but the wait for a table wasn’t too long(20 minutes), but I did think they were hovering a little at the end of our meal, hoping to get our table. Still, I hope to go again some day soon, staff was very nice and food came out quick.

Stopped in for lunch on my way back from NYC. I had the Auntie Lauire’s burger. 2nd best burger I’ve ever had. Just the right amount of crisp on the outside and juice on the inside. Pretzel bun it was served on was delicious. I had the salt and vinegar fries on the side and I had to have the waitress take the away because there were so many and I couldn’t stop eating them. Great dining experience and the price is very reasonable for what you get.

Was coming out of UConn game at the XL Center and craving a burger. Had never been to Catsup & Mustard before but had heard good things so decided to give it a try. Was NOT disappointed. I got the«Hartford Yard Goat» burger and it was sublime. Nicely cooked medium-rare and comes with a fantastic combination of goat cheese, sprouts, fried pickles, bacon, horseradish sauce, sweet/smokey onions and fried egg. Highly recommend. All burgers are a la carte so split a couple baskets of fries(spicy cajun and garlic parmesan) which were also solid. Will definitely be back.

This little burger joint has been on the bucket list ever since seeing it on Triple D. While on the East coast for the Holidays we decided to make a stop on the ride from Danbury, CT to Plymouth, MA. Easy off the highway and parking was conveniently around the corner, we arrived around 6pm on a Wednesday and was told the wait was going to be 30 mins but ended up being more like 45 by the time we sat down. Service was average at best and almost everything came out as ordered. The food however was awesome and exactly what we were expecting. Lots of choices and everything we tried was so delicious that we all ate way too much and there wasn’t a bite left to bring home.

The food was simply amazing. The Buffalo and Ranch Deviled eggs on the appetizer menu are definitely worth trying. If you are ever in Manchester, CT and find yourself hungry for some tasty food, then i would highly suggest stopping by Corey’s Catsup and Mustard. The burgers are delicious, as well.

Everything here is decent. Nothing was bad but nothing was great. The waffle on the chicken sandwich is very dry and if it served with a side of maple syrup perhaps it could have been salvaged. It’s not my first time ordering the sandwich so tonight wasn’t a fluke and it’s hard to get through prepared and served the way it is.

So I got truffle Parmesan fries which were simply decadent and absolutely tasty, and the mile high stacked 7 Burger. This burger, while delicious, was hard to get my jaw around and was completely and utterly overwhelmed by the peppercorn. Because of this, it was hard to identify the brisket, bacon, or any other flavor for that matter. If I could change it, I’d serve it with a single plain patty so you could experience the other flavors. Overall, unique burger menu that you have to try.

Just stopping in on our way home from Baltimore to Boston. We figured we’d try a DDD suggestion somewhere after the Tappan Zee Bridge…2 hours later, we found Corey’s Catsup and Mustard, and we were not disappointed. First we ordered a few beers and some Truffle Parm fries. The beer selection was decent and they had happy hour prices!!! Living in Boston, we get excited any time we get to have happy hour drink prices!!! Truffle fries were served with a fancy Balsamic Catsup(when in Rome, spell ketchup funny). I enjoyed picking out the shaved Parmesan, I’m pretty sure my fiancé didn’t get any. Oops. Then we had sammiches. My fiancé got the Aunt Laurie, whatever Guy Fieri suggested, because we wanted to get to flavor town. I got the Chicken and Waffle sammich, add bacon. Then we both wanted different fries as sides, so we got the salt n vinegar and the sweet potato fries! We both loved our sammiches, flavor town ACHIEVED. Also loved our fries! Dessert was a Guinness icecream float. That was a little weird, but the icecream was really good. I would try a different flavor, if we ever visited Manchester, CT again. Oh! And our server, Caitlin, was pretty delightful and on top of things! Thanks, Caitlin! Hopefully no one was overly offended by my spandex pants… road tripping is hard when you make delicious food a priority.

How did I never write a review for this place? It’s one of my favorite burger joints! I like Corey’s because they came along well before the«Gourmet Burger Bar» was all the rage, so they’ve already got the street cred from an authenticity standpoint. This is just a fun place to have a burger, and no, it won’t come with white truffle oil. But they do everything right here, from good servers, to good beers, to good music, to good food, of course. You know a place is great when it’s been doing business for years in downtown Manchester, which practically doesn’t exist anymore. Main Street sold its commercial soul to Buckland Hills decades ago, so I think it’s fair to say that this area of the city will never be the same. But Corey’s sure is trying to keep its heartbeat alive!

This place is definitely one of the best restaurants in the Hartford area, hands down. Arriving for the first time, the place was packed. My significant other and I were very lucky to snag the last open table on the left side of the restaurant a little ways near the bar. The place was so loud, I could barely hear him talk. It would have annoyed me… but I saw food leaving the kitchen and said recipients of food looked like they’d received it from the Big Man himself. So… I held off on judgement for that part. I ordered the Chicken and Waffles and my boyfriend got the Oh Burger, You Devil. Oh. My. GOD. I can’t even begin to describe how awesome my meal was, or how the explosion of flavor nearly knocked me out of my chair. No, I’m not exaggerating. It was THAT good. Gave a bit of it to my boyfriend who agreed it was amazing. I didn’t try any of his, but his Buffalo fries were a total hit. The slaw and pickle on the side were also totally amazing. Portion was so big, I ended up taking the rest home for lunch the next day. Oh, and the mason jar glasses were adorable! My only complaint now is that this place is small, and there’s only one of it(so far). But that’s okay. I’ll just keep coming back. :D

I came here with Tim M. on a Friday evening and was glad we snagged one of the two outdoor seats on this summer evening. I definitely dig the extensive menu — including the fact that they have lots of non-burger, tasty-looking sandwiches on the other side of the menu. I actually opted for the veggie burger, and Tim opted for the pretzel grilled chicken. I found the veggie burger, while unique in flavor, a bit under salted. The pretzel chicken was moist, and the turkey bacon was a nice touch. The additional cost sweet potato fries had a nice crisp. The draft beers were a little small. I’ll definitely come back to try more items on the menu and reevaluate my review.

I’ve been here twice and I loved both times. The burgers are thick and juicy, with the variety of burgers is awesome. They range from light and earthy, to spicy, to meaty and heavy. Its a great menu that keeps you coming back from more. I most recently had the Yardgoat burger, which had goat cheese, bean sprouts, and an egg. It was light and earthy which was exactly what i was looking for. Fries do not come with the burger, which makes this place a little pricier. For $ 5 you can get half-half fires and onion rings(read: YASSSSSSSSSSS). Desserts look great, but are largely passable. Parking is on the street, but there’s always plenty.

Just wanted to reiterate that this place is the bomb because of their awesome chopped brisket cheese waffle fries with BBQ brisket, scallions, melted cheddar and sour cream! Along with my return I got the… Horsey, Horsey Roast Beef I love roast beef but hate horseradish so I don’t really understand why I still ordered it but I guess to give horseradish another chance?! Anyway, I confirmed my dislike for horseradish but managed to finish it anyway because I’m no quitter. I highly recommend this to roast beef AND horseradish lovers. Even the sweet woman sitting next to me ordered it before me and said it was good. So take her word for it! For the 21+ Crocodile Tears Said to be «A tropical delight, Malibu Rum, Bacardi, Apple Puckers, Blue Curacoa, Pineapple Juice and a splash of sour mix.» Sour and indeed the perfect drink to remind that you are unfortunately not lounging by the beach at the moment. Other recommendations: The Turkey California burger Like the California roll… sorta…not really… actually not at all. Still tasty though!

Stopped in for lunch yesterday with my fiancée. A Wednesday around 1pm, we were seated right away after a table was cleared off. The place was about 80 to 90% full, even on a weekday in the early afternoon. Wasn’t feeling like a burger, so I ordered the General Tso’s Hog Wings with a side of Sweet Potato fries. My fiancée went with the«Bob» Cobb salad(minus the Blue Cheese). Took about 10 to 15 minutes for our lunch to come out. I thought my Hog Wings were good, they had a crispy outer coating and were lathered with a tasty sauce. Three good size wings on the plate, honestly, for $ 9.25, I believe there should have been four wings(what if two people were sharing the appetizer ??). But that doesn’t take away from the fact that the Hog Wings were tasty(I just would’ve liked to have another). Sweet potato fries were also very good, the dipping sauce that accompanied the fries was excellent. Think it was a maple-mayo combination. My fiancée’s salad was very fresh, the chicken was tasty. But it could have used a bit more bacon, and she would have preferred the tomatoes diced rather than laid in the bowl. But overall, she was happy with the«Bob» Cobb salad. People working at Corey’s Catsup & Mustard yesterday were very friendly. We’d come back again if we were in the area, and if it was a weekday(the place is relatively small, and from the other Unilocal reports, it gets crowded on the weekends). Next time we’ll try the burgers.
