This is the best Italian food I have found in New Hampshire in 20 years. The menu is varies and includes locally sourced options, creative new recipes along with classics like properly prepared carbonara and bracciole. the atmosphere is designed nicely, warm, urbane, and the acoustics are good even when crowded. After many visits, we have never had a server who was not professional, knowledgeable, attentive and helpful. The owner appears to be present always, interactive with customers without being intrusive, and managing service levels.

After giving 4 stars when they first opened I have been back several times. They now deserve the 5 star rating, it just doesn’t get any better than this for food and service.

If you want authentic Roman Italian, this is the only place to go in Manchester. Homemade pasta and delicious sauces. The Polpetti aka meatball appetizer is a must have! Definitely in the top 3 best I’ve ever had! Don’t miss the Charcuterie board. If you’re sitting near the side of the bar, you’ll be able to watch them slice everything to order. My favorite entrees are the Sicilan eggplant, orecchiette, and the braised beef. The pressed chicken looks amazing as well. I’ll be trying that at my next visit. The lemon ricotta pie hits the spot for desert. Dianne is a phenomenal server. We always ask for her.

Campo Enoteca is a must destination when in Manchester, NH Amazing authentic Roman Cuisine without the 8 hour flight and the annoying jet lag. When in Rome do like the Romans. I wish you all a hearty appetite.

A truly amazing place to dine. Exceptional food. Pork ravioli is to die for. Manager and bartender(s) are absolute professionals. I take it to and dates alike there quote often.

Great homemade pasta and fresh bread. Calamari was some of the best I’ve ever had! They don’t take reservations but call ahead because there was a pretty long wait on a Saturday. Definitely worth it though, everyones pasta dishes were delicious.

I love this place. You know you’re in for a treat when the bread and pasta are made fresh in house. It not only speaks towards the care that the chef has for the quality of his/her product, but also nothing beats the mouth-feel of fresh pasta. From what I understand, Campo Enoteca was opened by the same person who opened the Republic down the street. This is readily apparent in the fact that the water here is also served in old Patron bottles. This little quirk aside, this place serves completely different food. Think of the Republic as the weird older brother who is currently an architect/bartender/photographer living in SOHO, wears a beanie ironically during the summer months, and begins conversations with«I’m sure you’ve never heard of [insert obscure indie band name here] but they have changed my view on [insert obscure political reference here].» Campo on the other hand is the younger brother who went to Wharton, now works on Wall Street, has a modern and minimalist loft in Manhattan, and wears a 3 piece suit every day. And he’s Italian. Did I mention that? They serve«Roman» food here, which is Italian, I think.

I wish we had more good things to see about this place… The service was great and you can’t go wrong with ordering their cheese boards(that was delicious!) However the main entrees were disappointing to say the least. My husband and I got the scampi to share. Very lemony and very sweet. I was expecting more savory and butter flavors. I tried the spaghetti next in hopes a red sauce would be better, but again, very plain and noodles were way larger than what is traditionally served. All in all I wouldn’t recommend this place for dinner. But the cheese board, service and pistachio gelato(amazing!) all made up for it!

We had a fantastic lunch. The fresh ricotta was amazing on the fresh bread. We had flatbread pizza for an entrée and it was delicious! Very flavorful with a really good crust.

Dinner on a busy Friday night. We were met and greeted like old friends, seated promptly and immediately began a great dining experience. The food was great! Tasty, fresh, presented well. The dessert(Olive Oil Cake) was a new and delicious experience. Gonna be going back there often!

Been twice with my wife and the food hasn’t let us down yet. The first time I had the angry pasta. Now, I like spicy food a lot, but for whatever reason this was high-heat spicy! Keep in mind I ordered the full size instead of the half. Added a little white sauce to it and perfecto. The second time I ordered the pasta with soprasatta… tasty! Fast and friendly service in a cozy setting. The only drawback is they have a limited full bar. I’m ok with that because the food will keep me going back.

We found out about this place when we went to the Best of NH. The place is medium sized inside and had a nice set up. The bar area is small, but it’s not too bad. We got here around 5:30pm and the place started to fill up on a Thursday. The waitress was very nice and she delivered great service. I ordered the half chicken with smashed potatoes which was pretty good, The chicken was moist and flavorful. I am not sure if it actually came with a veggie, on the menu you didn’t say but when I asked the waitress she said it did. So when it came out to me, there were no veggies and I asked and she was very apologetic and came back in a few minutes with some green beans. If it didn’t come with any it was nice of her to still get me some. My husband ordered the roast beef dish(Bracciole) and he was a big fan. We also got a tasting of the Soppresetta which I never had and it was yummy. There is a chef that is in view and he slices up the meat and cheese. The martini I ordered too was on point, so good bartenders there! The manager was also very nice and checked in on us and it was nice to see that she asked how we heard about the place and if everything was going well. I also checked out the place online and their menu was up to date and they had a nice website. I am always so happy when I can check the menu first at restaurants. I am excited to go here and try other things!

Campo Enoteca opened recently in Downtown Manchester next door to Ate Doors Down. This wine bar serves up contemporary Roman cuisine in a very nice modern urban setting. The food offerings include fresh made pasta dishes(half & full sizes/$ 9-$ 20), artisanal breads, crostini(choose 3 for $ 12), salads($ 6-$ 10), appetizers($ 7-$ 15), dinners(roast pressed half chicken, bracciole, veg ravioli, mussels & Maine cannellini/$ 16-$ 23) and an assortment of Italian charcuterie & cheese and a good selection of Italian wines(whites, reds, tap wines), bubbles, beer(tap & bottles), and cocktails. Local ingredients are used in the dishes. My friend and I had dinner here recently. The place was hopping around 8PM on a Thursday night and we were greeted and seated by the hostess. Our friendly server brought over a big glass bottle of cold water and w basket of chewy ciabatta bread with EVOO for dipping. Started out with Polenta Frites($ 8) with Rosa Sauce, which were crisp on the outside and very soft inside and Crostinis($ 12 for 3)(1) Gorgonzola, figs, balsamic reduction,(2) White bean, grilled radicchio,(3) Grilled mushroom, duxelle, herb ricotta). For dinner, I had the Linguine Aglio e Olio($ 11 full) was very filling, which was soft, dense, very rich and garlicky. For dessert, the homemade Olive Oil Cake($ 6) was not too sweet, which had a soft yellow texture. Overall, we had a very enjoyable dinner, which was fresh and tasty. The service here was very attentive, efficient, informative, and professional. We were given refills on water a couple times, refilling up the glass bottle on our table. The server also suggested the Olive Oil Cake, which was a great dessert choice. We will definitely return to Campo for another dinner!
