There are lots of reasons I like Buffalo Wild Wings and I’ve found that like many national chain restaurants there are many features that are consistent at all their locations and those similarities usually ensure you won’t be surprised or disappointed when you make the decision to visit. Then there are usually a few things that can make the experience better or worst and these variables are usually center around the restaurant’s management. This particular location is no different from that perspective, and from my experience here it’s oblivious they do a lot of things right. The multiple televisions here ensures you’ll find something that caters to your interest when it comes to sports. Of course you have to understand the local favorites will always rule, so depending on the time of year you can expect to see the house full of Red Sox fans, Patriots fans and of course anything related to UCONN, but since this area is so demographically diverse there will always be a fair share of Yankee and Giant fans amongst the loyal crowds pounding beers and chomping on their favorite wing choices. Of course with so many screens it’s likely there will be plenty of NBA, NHL or golf options as well as Association football, more commonly known as soccer. I don’t really care who’s playing since I’m not a local and watching the fans can be just as entertaining as what’s being broadcasted, I’m here for the food and beer. I like my beers cold and my food hot so this is the perfect venue for that. It doesn’t get much beer than an ice cold Dos Equis with a fresh cut lime on draft with something covered in BWW’s Mango Habanero Sauce, combine that with great service and plenty of options for seating there’s really very few places that can compete on game day which is pretty much every day of the week.

Stopped in with a group of 5 at 4:00pm. Not busy at all. Was asked if we wanted to sit in the dining area or at the«high tables» by the bar. Chose to sit in the dining area. Was seated by the hostess and sat for 12 minutes(yes we kept track) without even being greeted by wait staff. Not so much as a «HI. I’m ___I’ll be right with you». Asked to be relocated to the«high tables» in the back figuring maybe there would be better service. We sat for an additional 9 minutes without speaking to anyone. Finally a young server came over and said«Your waitress will be over in just a few moments». There was only 3 other tables with people on this side, and they were all eating. The majority of the staff, including who I assume was manager, were all laughing and joking around. Finally had enough and got up to leave. As we walked by who would have been our waitress, she asked if we were relocating to the dining area. I replied«No we’ve been waiting for 20 minutes at least and haven’t even gotten the opportunity to order drinks, we’re going to someplace with better service.» Her response«ok bye». We ended up going to Carabas across the street. MUCH better service. Ended up spending $ 240 on food, drinks and tip. Didn’t mind one bit since the service was better than this dump. The Buffalo Wild Wings in Waterbury is so much better. It’s a shame because we love the franchise. This particular one gives the brand a bad reputation. The staff and management should be retrained on customer service and priorities.

Took our youngest son out for dinner and to see part of a basketball game that was not on our tv. Buffalo Wild Wings is a great place to watch game and enjoy some food. Plenty of tvs and the manager was able to put the game on the tv closest to us do our son could watch. It was a wing promo night on a Tue. So we grabbed some for the table. We got one of there special favors which is the rising sun sauce. The wings were well done and coated well in this sticky sesame, orange, chili and honey sauce. Just the right amount of heat. I would definitely order this flavor again. We also got the Parmesan garlic. These wings were also well cooked and coated with sauce. Almost a little too much. Since my wife and I are on kind of a health kick lately, we made this a cheat night, with the wings and tried to grab some«heather«apps also. She ordered the Garden Crasher which had warm pita chips, kalamata olives, fresh carrots, celery, red peppers and cucumbers. It was really light tasting. The tzatziki sauce with the yogurt, cucumber and a touch of dill was spot on. I ended up ordering the street tacos, which had garlic grilled chicken, Pico de gallo, their southwest ranch sauce and fresh Cilantro. These were small snack size, but 3 was the perfect amount. It was delicious. Overall I was impressed with the wings. They were better than I remember as I’m kind of a wing purists.(Bidwell Tavern or J Timothy’s) kind of guy.

Nothing special. It’s big but still gets packed during the big games. Wings are good at best, service is less then average.

i don’t know about this place. Going with 3 star simply due to their food sometimes being iffy. Seems like overall quality of food went down over the past couple years. Went here for UFC196 and the atmosphere was booming however. Great place to be for a hyphy sporting event. Similar caliber restaurant as hooters, just no boobs.

We had a BWW near our house for a couple of years and loved eating there. It closed due to a dispute with the mall owner. When ever we find ourselves near one we make a point to stop in. We have been baldy disappointed the last few time. The boneless wings were over cooked.

Wings are average. I’m sure they make enough money to replace their overhead projector. Looks like it’s getting a little old. Not clear. The wings are decent but the last time I went they were giving me a couple wings that were paltry in size. Literally the size of my thumb.

One of the managers spent his entire night conversing with friends at an adjacent table. Didn’t know how to work the televisions when their satellite started malfunctioning. After all the madness with the satellite tv the one guy who knows what’s going on starts to rearrange all the games so all the football fans are complaining mainly the steelers fans. Service was ok but felt like I was always chasing down the waitresses. We’ll most likely go again if the situation is the same and we’re away from home but hopefully they’ll have the tv situation together.

I really don’t understand why people love this place so much. Maybe its the affordable prices, cheap beer, and endless sports games being broadcast throughout. But for chicken wings, they lose hands down. From what I’ve experienced, they’re small, tough, and the actual chicken is flavorless. There’s a large assortment of sauces to choose from which is nice, but the ones I’ve had were nothing to rave about. The happy hour deals are decent on an already inexpensive menu, but you’re paying for what you get. And typically those options seem to be pre-made, high in sodium, and frozen. Not really my favorite thing. I hope no one makes me go back anytime soon!

This hands down is the go to place for watching any sports event. There are TV’s everywhere, and I like that they have a list of what game is on what TV, so you know where to sit. The bar and restaurant is consistent with the food and drinks, however they do change the menu up every now and then. I love that I actually can get all drummies instead of those hard to eat little wings. There are so many places that will not do this? They have a great selection of beers and keep switching them out so you can try a new seasonal ale. The wine is non existent, but seriously who watches a football game and drinks wine? The service here is truly«stand out» from other BWW’s that I have been to across the country. I have always had a great time when I visit this location.

Came for the rousey fight and I won’t be back. The staff were literally screaming obnoxious crap like«don’t you touch Ronda» on their way into the kitchen literally at the top of their lungs. It was some server and one of the«managers» in a blue shirt, this coupled with the fact people were literally stumbling/straight up falling into the bathroom to puke made for the perfect combo of terrible. Control the stuff, don’t over serve, and keep the heat down and this place will be better. With hooters and Dave and busters among many others right up the road I’m surprised to see BWW be so unprofessional even as far as sports bars/wings places go. Beware.

Hands down, my favorite BW3 ever. Food is delicious and the service is friendly and fast. We set at this chain often and this has the best flavor and most consistent quality. Yum!

Disappointing. Not that we had high expectation but still… Service was not good… We sat in bar area. Took like 15 – 20 min for a waitress to come over. Ordered boneless chicken and appetizer and another 25min wait. Didn’t come to refill our drinks until we are almost done. If it was packed, we could be more understanding but it wasn’t busy. I didn’t find food to be great either. As always, my one-time bad experience doesn’t mean you shouldn’t go. I’m sure there are many who love this place :)

A much-trafficked«bdubbs,» where the seats are well worn in and there’s a perfect science to the recipes and pamphlets on the table. The front dining room has huge TVs(instead of many little ones), and the waitresses are bubbly and perfectly attentive. Their happy hour is pretty sad(poor beers and few options), but it goes until 7pm. The Asian Zing salad wasn’t particularly green, and the dressing was too sweet. But who goes to Buffalo for salad, anyway?

In recent years, my husband has helped me drop my chain food/fast food addiction. This was a place we should have avoided. There is a Sonic in the next lot, a place I’ve had once before and liked, so I should have insisted. The food was too pricey, too oily, too fried, and too huge to be considered a one person portion. Our waitress was polite and helpful, so it isn’t the staff! The product is just no good.

Still a solid 4 star rating here at BWW. But I have to update to let Unilocalers know that if you’re living GF, you can indeed score wings here and be safe about it. Granted, this is the joint my son and I default to when we have a case of the fever for wings. But knowing I can bring my pretty traveling companion is spectacular. Good joint. I’m here regularly. And knowing I can bring my date is even better!

I’m embarrassed to say that I have never been to a Buffalo Wild Wings before, but I’m sure I’ll go again. We stopped in on a busy post-Christmas day and we weren’t even sure we would be able to get a table. It was open seating in the bar area, so we grabbed a table with no wait and had a seat. The service was prompt and friendly, and the beer selection was excellent. I had a hefeweizen which was quickly served and icy cold. We ended up getting some potato skins and boneless wings. Both were served piping hot. Next time I’m in the mood for wings, I know where I’m going!

I’ve come here a few times over the past few months because my friends and I are all big football fans. I’ve never been too impressed with the food, but I always tend to return anyway because it has the best setup around for catching the games. After my latest visit yesterday, however, the atmosphere is the only thing that saves itself from getting one star in this review. I’ll start with the parking. I’m not sure what went into the planning for the size of the parking lot, but I would think they would have planned for enough spots to accommodate a full restaurant. That wasn’t the case. I arrived at 12:45 for the 1:00 games and it was complete chaos. There must have been 10 cars circling the lot waiting for people to leave, while others gave up and parked in the Sonic lot, and others ended up parking across the street and walking. After all of that we got inside to find the place was crowded but it was still not filled to capacity. The waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. She was one of the plus sides of our visit. We started with a plate of nachos which were absolutely awful. The cheese was cheap, soupy, nacho cheese and the beef was cut into chunks so big you needed multiple chips to eat them. After that I ordered the Mango Habanero wings which were as spicy as I wanted but other than that had very little flavor. While it is always tempting to return here for the games, I think I’m going to make a conscious effort from now on to go elsewhere when I want to catch the games at a bar.

All in all — BWW is pretty high on my list for local places to get a pint and watch a game, but you’ll find me elsewhere if there’s not a game on that I really want to watch. As stated above, BWW is great for watching a game. I’m convinced that’s why people seem to love it so much. The number of TV’s is unrivaled(maybe Bobby V’s in Windsor Locks as a close second?). The beer selection is above average, the bar is reasonably well stocked, the wait isn’t too bad even on busy days, and the bartenders have always been great. The food, however, is less so. I appreciate some of the flavors, but the wings are over $ 1.00 each when not on sale(they were on sale for $ 0.60−0.65 during my last visit), and don’t even come with veggies or blue cheese for that price. On top of that, the wings are quite small compared to elsewhere. People seem to be willing to pay up though, so I doubt we’ll see the prices drop any time soon.
