My daughter goes to camp foster and has really enjoyed it. My only complaint is the way they go about the payments. Payment is due on Monday and one of my first payments were after the office staff went home and I didn’t want to leave cash on the box. The reason for that is because there is no reciept and evidence that I dropped it off. I went in the next morning and the blonde lady at the desk was unforgiving and I had to pay ten extra dollars. Okay, that’s fine. Now, you have to pay two weeks in advance and I paid a week ahead so I wouldn’t be behind. Somehow, I owed for an extra week. Strange, but okay. So I call and she charges me ten dollars again. Extremely condescending responses and I’ve watched the way she works with parents who cannot have the funds till a day late due to their pay day. I just feel like this organization would be a little more lenient considering most of the clientele is in the inner city where there are low income dynamics.

OK, we are pretty new to B&G club, but already pleased.(see my YMCA review for comparison) More relaxed about forms and paperwork compared to YMCA(where you have to sign your life away for even the simplest kids’ class). Easy pickup and drop off. Clean and modern thanks to massive gift/donation by Manchester native Adam Sandler, and subsequent club expansion. Innovative programs including video gaming room with big screen that my kids love. Something for all age groups. Much more affordable than YMCA. FREE Food and snacks available during almost all program times-breakfast, lunch, dinner. Family oriented, families invited to dinners. All rooms supervised by adult. Strict behavior policies. Reasonable summer camp fees. Hi tech tracking of kids(bar codes), know where they are at all times.
