Been going for about 5 years now. last visit was my last. I havnt seen the actual dentist in a solid 2 years. Good and bad I guess. I’ve always had a dentist peek in my mouth after the cleanings, this has never happened. it just struck me the other day that the dentist is never really there. The atmosphere in the office is bland and the office staff is emotionless. The office is circa early 1990. it hasn’t been updated or revamped in quite some time. The hygienist are good. I’m currently in the search for a new dental provider. they get my money and I want to at least feel a little tiny bit appreciated when I go to my dentist.

Great people, great service, great interest in their patients outside of just their teeth. Great first experience with Dr. Lovelace and his staff!

4 stars for hygienist and dentist, one star for administrative staff. Hence the overall rating of 2 stars. My wife and I have been visiting Associated Dental Care for 13 years. I liked my hygienist a lot and looking forward to see her twice every year. The dentists there did a decent job the few times I needed dental work. It’s fair to say that we were loyal customers of Associated Dental Care. We never thought we would leave until yesterday. Associated Dental Care implemented a policy last year that charged $ 50 penalty for each missed appointment. My wife was charged $ 50 in August, which was waved because the office did not call us about the appointment. My wife missed a second appointment in November, which was probably her fault. Before she called the manager, I actually told her that we should pay the $ 50 if it was our fault. She talked to the manager and resolved the issue. So we thought we were good with Associated Dental Care. We received a voicemail from Associated Dental Care 2 days ago reminding me my cleaning schedule next month. The lady also mentioned that we had some account issue. I called yesterday to confirm my appointment, only to be told that we had missed 3 appointments, 2 by my wife and 1 by me, and we needed to pay for that. She said she sent us the bill 3 times, which we never received a single one in the mail. I immediately said that I had never missed any appointments and asked the lady what appointment I missed. The lady said I missed a November cleaning appointment. This was impossible because I did my cleaning in August and my next appointment should be in February. After telling the lady, I was appalled to hear the lady continued to say we still needed to pay for 2 missed appointments without apologizing the mistake she just made. I told the lady that my wife had talked to the manager and resolved the issues, but she insisted that her manager never talked with my wife. Seeing the conversation was going nowhere, I promised her I would tell my wife to call her and ended the phone call right there. I felt really bad after the phone call. As I said, we had been loyal customers and we always paid our bills. We never owed a single cent to them. Yet the lady talked to us as if we were liars trying to dodge the penalty. I was fine with paying the penalty as long as we understand each other. My wife had a similar conversation with the lady and felt offended as well. I thought I would just go to my next appointment and pay the penalty, but I realized that I would never feel comfortable going to that office again. So I called them this mooring, paid the penalty, and canceled all our future appointments. I’d rather find a dental office that is willing to give its longtime customers some leeway and a little more respect.

I switched to Associated Dental Care of Manchester after experiencing nothing but horrors from Columbia Dental. The building is located on a not so nice looking street but the inside office is beautiful and spacious. The staff are very kind and welcoming as well. My wait time was very short and once I met Dr. Lovelace, I was very confident that I found the best dentist in the area! He is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He has no problem answering questions and takes the time to explain everything thoroughly. All I can say is I am extremely happy I switched! :)

My dental office for two years in Manchester… It was as good an experience as you can get from a dentist, for sure. Dr. Lovelace and Dr. Kasprzak(yep, that’s how you spell it) are both very good dentists that did their work right the first time around. They’ve also got a great team of hygenists who are as friendly as they are professional. Wait times were always at a minimum, and even so, they have a ton of magazines. I found a recipe i liked in one of them, and the office lady was nice enough to make a copy for me :). Most importantly, this is the place in Manchester to go for a dentist. Even though their office is in the deteroriating Main Street section of town, their business is alive and flourishing. Now if only they would invent an automatic flossing machine.

I’ve been a patient for about 4 years and have had no complaints. Dr. Lovelace is great. Quick, efficient and usually in a good mood. I recommend.
