I went in a couple of weeks ago on a Monday and ordered a large pizza. The person taking my order said it would be ready in 25 minutes, so I left, went to the grocery and came back 30 minutes later. When I went to the counter, he said it would be another 25 minutes because it was Monday and they were busy. I said no problem, and asked for a half of a pint while I was waiting(waiting because the order was delayed due to them, not me, and I was driving, so I didn’t want a full pint). When the pizza finally came an hour after I ordered it, they charged me for a full pint. I asked them if I had to pay full price for the beer and the guy with the bandana behind the counter said«we don’t charge for half pints, it’s the law.» No acknowledgement or apology for making me wait twice the time they said it would be ready, just a mean stare. I’ve never asked for anything to be given to me for free my entire life, but there was no offer to comp the beer, or anything even resembling a smile. I laughed it off, walked out the door and thought to myself that I’d never go back there. Tonight, Wood Fire Pizza was backed up an hour, so I went back to Christo’s because I promised my daughter pizza for dinner. When I walked in, the guy without the bandana said«Hi Mike». I asked him how he remembered my name, and he said he remembered it was because I was the guy who asked to pay for a half pint. The guy with the bandana wouldn’t even acknowledge that I existed and never looked at me. I ordered a pint(who knew how long this pizza would take…), waited 20 minutes, grabbed my pizza when it was ready and left. They have decent pizza, and I am sure they will survive without my business in the future. I am also sure that I will survive without their pizza as well(God willing). But, I won’t pay for food at a place where they make you feel like an idiot because you had to wait an hour for their excellent pizza and wonderful service, without ever acknowledging that you might have been marginally inconvenienced. No biggie, life rolls on. Best of luck Christo’s!

If you are passing through Manchester and are in the market for a great pizza and greek salad, then make no mistake. Christos’ Pizza is where it’s at. Large Pizza, extra cheese, and sausage. The crust here is really something they should be proud of. Airy, crispy, yet maintains a soft texture in the middle that holds up to lots of cheese and toppings and has an all around great taste. Speaking of cheese, I’m quite certain their blend contains cheddar, and perhaps muenster. I’m not sure on the 2nd, but it makes for a delicious if albeit un-traditional pizza experience. The salads, sandwiches and wraps are all pretty standard faire. Decent bang for your buck. But lets be honest, if you are here, order a large pizza. I Really doubt you will be disappointed.

Average pizza, but worth checking out if you get tired of Wood Fired Pizza. Wood Fired has better slices, but Christos crushes them on Service.

Best pizza in Manchester. Great crust, tasty sauce, fresh toppings and not overpriced. All their food is worth checking out.

The food was excellent! The sauce of my lasagna was so tasty, huge portions, just great! My friend had the chicken parmesan which was equally delicious! We loved this place!

Went in for a chef salad and a 16″ pizza ½ cheese ½ meat toppings and 3 waters. Charged over $ 40. Ridiculous. Tables were dirty as well. Served cheap/flimsy plastic forks.

Worst place ever, we received wrong order and than they gave us the worst pasta i ever had, taste like vomit, everything else we ordered was tasteless the manager was rude, arguing with customers, told me that she doesn’t care about me and she doesn’t like me and she didn’t want to refund the pasta, i have never seen such a bad attitude from a manager to customer. I wish you good luck if you gonna eat there.

We were so surprised by how good the food was here! My Greek salad with chicken was really just so delicious. I wanted to come back the next day again! My husband got the spaghetti and meatballs which he said was great. He got garlic bread with his dish and so I got to enjoy the garlic bread with the Greek salad. Can’t go wrong with garlic bread… The ambiance is that of a pizza place, so very casual, and we liked how you just walked up to the counter to order and they then brought you your food. Husband also got wine and they gave him a second free glass! Everyone was so friendly. We’ll be back for an easy, pleasant and delicious dinner.

In fairness, we came in after 9:00PM when they were in the process of shutting down for closing. This was acceptable because the counter person apologized in advance that they would be cleaning around us but that we were welcome to take out time and enjoy our food. I didn’t get the set-up for counter service. It was a full restaurant with wait staff but you had to order at the front counter. There was a big basket of tip money in your face as you were ordering as a challenge to fill it up. I found ordering up front an unnecessary inconvenience held-over from a time gone by when it was just a slice-at-the-counter joint. However, it was nice, clean, family-friendly, with a very young staff who were all quite pleasant. We shared a large Greek salad which was really quite tasty. We ordered two of their specialty pizzas,(both were 12 inch, which is their smallest size). One was a four cheese(we added half pepperoni), and the other was their Epilos pizza. Both tasted fair at best. The crusts were not crisp and tasted gluey. It took some time to get them,(as you might expect at some specialty pizza places). My my pie came out 10 – 15 minutes before my wife’s pie. This was at the end of the night when only one other family was ordering. The two 12″ pies with a large Greek salad and two bottles of water totaled over $ 50.00 without tip. We took home half the pizza we had ordered. Very disappointing experience overall because oft he quality the pizza and how pricey it was,(for pizza).

We thoroughly enjoyed the pizza and salads here! We were amazed by how tasty the pizza was and how perfectly cooked the crust was! My husband and I can rarely agree on a good pizza but we did tonight! The Greek pizza is amazing!!! We enjoyed the laid back, relaxed atmosphere and everyone was very friendly!

Great garlic bread. Service was friendly, and really liked the pitchers of water readily available at the front. Had the buffalo chicken pizza — very filling and overall pretty good. Would come back.

Long wait time for food to arrive considering its more like fast food joint, but the food is good for the price you pay.

A must-go for anyone in the area. Great pizza place! The eggplant parmesan was fresh and I’d recommend it for anyone who goes there. The marinara sauce was great and made of fresh tomatoes. The service was friendly but a little slow, however we came in during the dinner rush.

For a town with many expensive restaurants, this place was a welcome chill break from fancy food. The Greek salad was awesome and the pizza has a deep dish airy crust. Would definitely recommend for a casual dinner!

Christos has the best pizza in Manchester, been here several times on visits to town and wouldn’t miss it! The dough is where it’s at, fluff but crisp texture, great flavor. The Greek pizza with eggplant is a personal fave. Also delish salads, very generous portions. To top it off, staff is very friendly and always accommodating, can’t ask for more.

Hey Bro, I’m from Jersey. I live across the frigging Hudson from New F*&king York City and I know pizza and I know Italian too. No way you guys know what you’re doing up there in Vermont. The problem is that, while you would expect to find a mediocre pizza joint in Manchester, one simply does not exist because, my friends, Christos rocks. And while I have been to Manchester numerous times, I should in no way shape or form want to eat pizza there because, like I said, I have all that I want right here. But yet I do time & time again. Their food is outstanding. It’s a pizzeria in the old school sense of the word in that there is a large counter where you order and they bring the food to your table. I have had their pizza, spaghetti, veal and lasagna and all have been excellent. Great choice and you might actually walk in and feel like you’re home. Sold 4 Star performer but if I was a local, it would be 5 all the way. Like I said, I’m from Jersey and we got pizza up the wazoo here.

Solid crunchy crust style pizza. Definately on the pricier side but the care & quality of ingredients is obvious. Beer choices are good too. Nice menu selections & pizza combinations. Salads, wraps, subs, & pizza. Not very personal but decent service. Warm interior w booths & low lighting.

We had Pizza, and it was great. Plus there was a very nice gentleman named George playing a keyboard in the back corner. This was on a Monday night! Pizza was thick, but not as thick as Pizza Hut pan pizza. We enjoyed it. We are only in town for a few days Skiing and we plan to make it to Cristo’s again for more great pizza.
