After reading the reviews for a computer repair guru, my boyfriend and I decided to call David to repair his laptop before we moved cross country. His computer screen was not working and he couldn’t use his computer unless it was connected to the TV… The reviews on David’s work were wonderful and we decided to give it a shot since the reviews said that David did the repair within hours, the maximum was a week. David picked up the computer which was wonderful. however, after that everything went down hill. Several days went by that David did not give us necessary updates. Kevin had to call to find out what Dave’s diagnosis of the computer was. David said it was a screen issue and he was going to be ordering a new screen and should get it in two days and that he would call then. A week went by and Kevin called for an update to which david said that the screen had not shown up yet, No biggie we just wanted updates… David said he should get us the computer back by the time we left for Nevada… Another week went by without an update and we were ready to make the drive out to Nevada. Kevin called and David said that he didn’t realize that the screen he ordered was canceled… So he said he would order another one and get back to us, fix the computer and ship it out. Fast forward to a month later… Still no word from david… Kevin called and David updated him saying that the screen was not the problem, apparently it was an internal issue which shouldnt he have checked that BEFORE all this nonsense of the screen?! Kevin continuously asked David for updates on the computer, seeing as we were over 2,000 miles away and on the other side of the country, who which David said he would do but never did… $ 300 and a HUGE bill due to the shipping, and TWOMONTHSLATER, we finally got the computer back… The icing on the cake about this all??? The fact that David SHIPPED the box out without even confirming with us that it was okay we would 1. pay that much money for it to be shipped that way and 2. that we wanted it to even be shipped instead of dropping it off at a family members home… David might be great at what he does but he sure doesn’t communicate what is going on with your expensive computer, which made us feel uneasy that we were dealing with a crook.

Absolutely top notch! Bought a laptop from BJs about a year ago. Three months later, the left hinge broke. Research told me that it was a common problem for my laptop and that it wasn’t covered by any warranty. HPs fee for repairs started at $ 300, so I turned it off and shoved it under my sofa and went back to using my old laptop. Finally decided to drag it out and find someone to fix it. Came to Unilocal and found Wellington Computer Repair and all it’s 5 star ratings, so I sent an email. Laptop was picked up on a Monday night and I got it back Saturday morning. Cost to repair was much less than what HP quoted. I am one happy camper. I now know who to call for computer repairs should the need arise in the future.

AbsoI needed a motherboard on a Lenovo Ideapad laptop replaced. Dave picked up the computer around 5:30PM and returned it by 9:45PM! The work was perfect. The price was more than reasonable. I have built around 100 desktop computers. After watching a video on replacing the board on the laptop, I decided to have it done by someone with laptop experience. I couldn’t be happier/ If you need computer repairs, you can’t go wrong with Dave.

I’ve asked David to help fix several different computers over the past year, and he has always been extremely knowledgeable, personable, and professional. He has always figured out the problem, had the work done within days, if not hours, and has very reasonable prices. I will continue to go back to him for any computer needs in the future.

I’m a little late on writing my review. I used Wellington late last year to replace the cracked screen on my Dell laptop. I worked directly with David. 5 star experience for sure. He picked up my laptop, made the repairs in a few days(had to order the part) and delivered it back to me!!! Now that is customer service. Oh, and did I mention the price was fair! Will definitely use him again for any other computer needs…

David Lloyd is the owner and the only person who will work on your computer. Very professional, and very reasonably priced. Our experience: Computer died overnight. He offered to pick it up from our home but I had it already in the car and delivered it to his home. He worked on it overnight and fixed everything, returned it to us and it runs better than ever — he got rid of corrupted files and gave it a good cleaning. He was very thorough and made a return trip for free when I could not get an old program to work properly… fixed that quickly and all is well. He gaurantees his work and he has a fee cap so that customer does not pay more than a certain amount… check out his website for that specific info. Very courteous. So glad ot have a professional repairman I can trust and can do good work quickly.
