Vocelli Pizza

I saw I last reviewed this place back in August of 2014. A lot has changed since then. In my own life. Not this place though! This place is still kicking and is still awesome! My family moved across town and probably the week after we moved we wanted some pizza. I went online and discovered they DO deliver to my new place even though it’s probably a 15 minute trip! AWEEESOME!
Normally we switch between a ham and pineapple and a «meat magnifico» pizza. I actually just had a store bought $ 3 cheese trip pizza so I think next time I order from Vocelli’s it’ll be for a mixed cheese pizza. I’m sure they will nail it too.
The wings are good! I get them plain, with blue cheese on the side. The wings are always nice and moist on the inside, some parts crispy on the outside. Perfectly done.
Delivery is awesome. The people are always friendly. Delivery USUALLY takes about an hour. I don’t think that’s too bad of a wait though, seeing we are a little far out.
I always order online. They changed the online ordering so now you have to click «well done» or «light done» for the pizza. I’m not sure what light done is, but well done seems like it’s a little bit over-​cooked and the light done doesn’t seem cooked enough. I’m used to the PERFECT pizza without having to select one of those, so that throws me off lately. But that’s alright. I’ll figure it out.
Overall. Still recommend this place. Still five stars. Still great.

I have never been to the physical building. But for the longest time I used to order from this awesome place. It was not until last night I rediscovered this gem. Be it the wings, the Vocelli Rolls, or the Meat Magnifico Pizza, everything was perfect and delivered hot. If you are looking for great delivery for a great price check these folks out.

Sorry I don’t care if the pizza is tasty or not, a bad attitude is enough to ruin a meal. Poor service = Not coming back.

I some how remember the food much better than tonight. I ordered a club sammy for myself and it had lettuce that looked pretty old. Barely any bacon on it… Also didn’t realize it was a hot sammy; my preference is cold. Not a deal breaker but the lettuce was scarce and brown. (YUCK — let’s hope I don’t get sick)
The 6.99 chicken tenders… well I got them for the hubby for later when he’s home… there were FOUR in the container… um… that’s almost 1.75 PER tender. Rip off. Needless to say, I’ll stick to Joe’s. You get more for your money there. I spent $ 20 bux between delivery fee, one sammy, a TINY order of expensive tenders… PLUS another couple bux for tip.
Haven’t had their pizza in a while since it gives the hubby heartburn.
Pass on this place… it’s not what it used to, and pretty sure I used to get more than 4 tenders in an order. for 6.99 there should be 5 or 6, not four.

I’ve been to one other pizza place in Manassas and this one was better. Got two pizza’s for the price of one with coupon, otherwise it would have been a little overpriced. They don’t have individually sized pizza’s which is also a bummer. All-​in-​all an okay choice.

Ordered a chicken Cesar salad all lettuce a total of 6 little chicken pieces what a waste of money you have lost us for good

I ordered my family lunch today and we received bowls full of lettuce for $ 60. What a rip off.

Honestly the pizza is bland but not absolutely terrible. I think if the sauce was jazzed up a bit with some garlic and herbs the pizza would improve. The pepperoni is ok but they cut their veggies so thin that they basically don’t have any flavor after cooking.

Order a pepperoni Stromboli from here last night online for delayed delivery. Delivery guy arrived about 5 minutes early, which I consider to be with in the reasonable time frame for a scheduled delivery. Stromboli was still warm when it arrived. Overall the taste was ok and it wasn’t too greasy like some strombolis I’ve had from other places in the area. The only major downside was the price is expensive for the amount of food you get. Even with a 20% discount for ordering online the Stromboli was over $ 9 and smaller the other local places that are cheaper to begin with. I don’t mind paying for quality but like I wrote earlier there was nothing special about the Strombol. Would I go back? Sure but not on a regular basis and I’d try something different.
