Top Reglazing

I randomly found Ryan through Unilocal.I knew our tub needed to be reglazed or replaced but I wasn’t specifically searching for this kind of company. Stumbling upon his Unilocal page moved the tub up on our priority list in our new home.
Our tub was disgusting. The previous owner washed her three dogs in the tub and they did lots of damage. Her two grown boys also used this tub to shower and they didn’t clean it (we know for a fact). I cleaned and scrubbed it and knew the tub’s condition had to be addressed.
I messaged Ryan through Unilocal and then through email. He was very prompt in getting back to me. He quoted me a price and we scheduled a date/​time. He knocked on the door at exactly 8:00 AM as expected! By noon he was done and we couldn’t be happier! He reviewed cleaning instructions and walked us through them.
The price is amazing. We would’ve paid more for the quality of the work performed. Fast, efficient, clean, professional. We would highly recommend him and we would definitely hire him again.

I am thrilled with the reglazing job that Ryan did on my clawfoot tub, and the price was very reasonable. I will certainly hire him again for future projects.

We own a property and are from out of state. We were coming out to flip it on a short timeline and Ryan was able to perform the work on short notice and very quickly. He even was able to come earlier than he originally said! He was friendly and got straight to work and worked completely independently until the job was complete. As others have said in their reviews, he hand scraped the tub and we are beyond pleased with the result. It beyond transformed our bathroom.
We called several places for quotes and Ryan’s prices were by far the most reasonable.

Fantastic job. As others have said, Ryan spent a lot of time in the preparation which is key to a good outcome. He was very organized and neat in every way. He took great care to cover carpeting from the house entry to the bathroom, put plastic up to protect from over-​spray and set up an exhaust fan with a flexible duct out a window to minimize the buildup of fumes. We were so pleased that we have scheduled him to do the shower stall in the master bedroom. In addition to doing an excellent job, his pricing was very, very reasonable.

Ryan did a fantastic job. He was on time, organized, and cleaned up the area. He is professional and friendly. I highly recommend this company. After checking area prices, I found him to be reasonably priced as well.

We had Ryan refinish our tub last week and the result is outstanding — looks like a brand new tub, which revived the entire bathroom. He arrived exactly on time, worked tirelessly until mid-​afternoon and left everything in perfect shape. He took extra care to put down tarps to cover the entry ways, and used a high power fan to exhaust any fumes before he left. My highest recommendation for this service. Thank you, Ryan.

As a germaphobe, the number one thing on my to-​do list after buying our home was to replace the bathtub, despite my love of everything vintage and preservation projects. My partner, a general contractor and ultimate handyman, vetoed this item immediately after babbling on and on (and on) about the weight of an old bathtub, the time we’d have to spend without a usable shower, and the cost compared to refinishing a tub.
We argued, a lot. I absolutely could NOT understand how $ 300 refinishing could really ever compare to a new tub (which is not absurdly expensive at $ 800) — if this were true, EVERYONE would be doing it. Alas, I lost the argument and the rest of the bathroom received a complete renovation sans new tub and I was finally forced to give in to this refinishing idea.
Ryan came over and hand sanded (yes, you read that right) and repaired minor cracks in our tub for hours. Again, I lamented how disastrous of an idea this was because who charges a mere $ 300 for this kind of manual labor and actually does a good job? Ryan that’s who.
Our bathtub is beautiful and fresh. I was so so so wrong in the beginning — our bathtub looks like the newest item in the bathroom. And just because I’m a skeptic, I waited a few months to post this review — so far so good, still in great condition and has been super easy to clean (with no product).
My only regret is not using Top Reglazing to redo our yellow tile from 1949 — it would have save us an absurd amount of time on the renovation.
