Waited over 10 minutes for literally a two piece meal that was already cooked and just waiting out… service was just too slow. Not only that, I waited 5 minutes in line just to be told there was no mashed potatoes, no corn on the cob and no rice. I asked if we can be compensated by getting two sides since that was such an inconvenience and he said no. I mean, who goes to Popeye and doesn’t get mashed potatoes? Definitely wasn’t a happy customer.

Well, this one is on my way to a lot of places so I end up here but when I can, I avoid this location. This restaurant is not very clean and their bathrooms are not either. Their spicy chicken does not have the flavor as other popeyes. I thought I was mistaken when I got spicy and called the manager who was nice enough to give me more spicy chicken but neither was spicy. I thought maybe popeyes changed their recipe. Recently, I went to another location on Sudley road and their spicy chicken definitely had the spicy flavor I was used to getting at popeyes previously.

First of all, I cannot believe that I am even giving this a 5 star rating, let alone a fast food restaurant. Secondly, I still can’t believe I’m writing this review, but I’ve got to credit when it due. It’s been a very long time since my family and I have visited this place. It’s a bit on the pricey side, and there have been times when service has not been the best. But tonight was something special. I had ordered the 16 piece meal, mild with fries, corn and mashed potatoes. But there was a problem, the 7 pieces of mild chicken they already had on hand, was dry and stringy. They could of easily served that to me, or to anyone waiting on the mild chicken, but they didn’t! Instead, the cashier got away from behind the counter and apologized to everyone who was waiting, let each person individually know that the remaining pieces of chicken were dry, and that the wait would be about 8 minutes(it was actually less time than that); she even offered free drinks to everyone who waited. I thought that was the most thoughtful gesture to give people the best quality food and even offering complimentary drinks to boot! My only regret is. It getting this lady’s name. She was wonderful! Oh and the food was fresh and so good, definitely worth the high price point. Just because of the service, my family and I would be back here.

I stopped by this place to get family 12 piece meal. It was 9pm, so it was quiet and ready to close. I think I waited for 7 – 10 minutes, so it wasn’t that bad. I asked for jam for the biscuits and she gave me some. I asked for more, but put in 3 more. Oh well, I guess that is all the jam I get for 6 biscuits. Came home and had dinner. Chicken, coleslaw, and biscuits(and jam) were all good. Oh, and I didn’t realize it was $ 30 for 12 piece meal. I got to keep those coupons when it comes in my mailbox.

Stopped by to pick up a 12 piece family meal with red beans and rice and Cajun rice. It was about 1:30 so lunch rush should have had hot fresh chicken. Not sure if it was because I was taking it out but when I got home, half the chicken was dried out and stringy. It was like they gave me the oldest chicken under the lamps they had. They really should have some type of quality check of how long the chicken can sit before throwing out. Worst $ 30 spent on lunch for my family. And to boot the Cajun rice was only about ¾ filled. Not going back there.

Eh. I should really know better. I feel like I always get food here that has been sitting in the window a little too long. I also feel like if I have just paid like $ 9.50 for 6 chicken tenders, I shouldn’t have to basically beg the person behind the counter to give me more than one container of BBQ sauce. I really only stopped here because I wanted to try the(Yeah, I know how bad they are for me) Waffle Chicken Tenders. I blame my curiosity. Don’t worry, my taste buds(and waist line) paid for it. Blah. I love the dirty rice though… that’s really the only reason I ever stop here. No matter how bad everything else is… the rice keeps me coming back!

Just another run of the mill popeyes tucked in a large shopping center as a strip mall business(no drive thru). Long wait for food but what I found intresting is that they provide a website to order online which allows you to go straight to the register to pick your food up on arrival. AND they even have free deliver for any orders over $ 100 so if you are having a party… makes it a good decision. My last two points are why I gave them a 3 instead of a 2.

This is located in a shopping center. It is NOT a stand-alone Popeyes like many others. There is only a limited amount of tables inside. Inside is clean and they are pertty efficient. I only recommend this place for carryout though.

Anything with the word«Cajun,» «Creole,» or «Louisiana» in it’s name or menu will usually get my attention — I am a huge fan of this kind of food — especially Cajun. You could advertise 2 x 4s being delicious Cajun food and I would be intrigued. Anyhow — back to Popeyes — they’ve been advertising these«Louisiana» nuggets — I got the impression they were a spicy Cajun concoction — I knew I had to try them. Yes Su — the marketing got me again! I ordered the nuggets — which come with your choice of one side and a biscuit. I chose the mashed potatoes with Cajun gravy, and a Diet Coke. I was disappointed in the nuggets — nothing really Cajun or Louisiana to them that I could detect. They were, however, pretty tender and tasty from the perspective of being chicken nuggets. The mashed potatoes and gravy and the biscuit were very good — coming from a fast food restaurant. I ended up dosing the nuggets with three packets of their Louisiana hot sauce to give them some heat.
