Pho Time

Now PHO SAIGON. Excellent service and the phở was amazing. The restaurant and restrooms were extremely clean and the food quality is superb. We do not live close by but will make the trip again because it’s way better than the phở spots near us!

This place used to be fantastic until they changed owners 4 weeks ago. Now the food is horrible. My daughter used to love the spring rolls here and would literally want them everyday. We ordered take out today, she took one bite out of the spring rolls and went straight to the trash to spit it out. Ordered 2 vermicelli bowls and ¾ of our container are bean sprouts. I hope you love bean sprouts because you will pay almost $ 9 for mostly bean sprouts. The summer rolls must have been made by a kid because it was not rolled at all. They mind as well have closed it with a toothpick. It’s so sad because this use to be one of our favorite places to go. $ 40 down the drain. This place is now horrible without the old owner.

Stopped by on Saturday, October 31 and they were closed. Stopped by again this evening and noticed a sign that stated they were closed until November 13^th. Right below that was a sign stating «Help Wanted» with positions for waiters, waitresses, and kitchen staff. Not good. Did everyone quit on them?

I wanted to try this place because I wanted phở that day and this was the closest place in the area that worked with the GrubHub app to order. Anyways I order and get there in 15 minutes (which is when my order was supposed to be ready), the waitress who attended me didn’t have the slighted idea about my order. She apologized, put in the order and told me she’d have it ready ASAP. She was very kind and brought me a glass of water without me asking for it. It was disappointing that they didn’t get my order at all but I could see the waitress seemed to be working alone and taking care of a large party as well.
I’m not expert of Phở but their broth was a lot sweeter and cinnamon-​y than what I’m used to. It wasn’t a bad flavor just different. I think this place seems clean and nice but lacks efficiency in the online ordering system, that’s why I gave 4 stars.

when I first ordered from this establishment I had a great experience. However the delivery was missing. And then the next time, and the next time… Five times in a row something was messed up.
Now the quality of the food was okay, well cooked, but it did not wow me. Especially since there are a few other phở places around.
oh not to mention that they only sometimes deliver so good luck with that.

Came here because of the great ratings, left feeling very underwhelmed.
Phở Time is a pleasant-​enough and clean place, although, we visited on a hot and humid day, and the interior was much the same, so I’m not sure if their climate-​control is up to par. Our service was very courteous and attentive, if a bit awkward. We had a toddler in tow, and she automatically brought out water in a covered cup w/​straw, and a little mini bowl and utensils for sharing without us asking, so it was really nice to have that service anticipated. We also left something at our table when we left, which the waitress ran outside to us in the heat as we were getting into our car, so I can’t fault her for dedication.
That being said, their phở and spring rolls were just… ok. Everything tasted fresh, but a little on the bland side. The phở broth was tasty, but light, and mostly just a straight meat flavor with little spice complexity. I wanted this place to be much better. However, given the service I would try it again if I’m in the area.

Wow, this has taken over the Phở choices in Manassas. If you want Phở, come here. Really good and full of flavor. The waiter Renee was great and prices are great too. 8 bucks for a large bowl. I’ve been here twice, first time chicken second time brisket. Both were great… Will be back for sure!!!

Bottom line: Good service, good food, and I would return. I Recommend this location.
What a great restaurant, after leaving the hospital late at night my mom and I had dinner here. Although showing up 10 minutes until closing the service was good and the food was excellent.

Service was okay. But it is pricey and the food is bad. We ordered the appetizer Chicken Wings. I guess there is about 7 little wings costs us $ 7.00. The grilled pork and beef rice were not tasty at all. Their phở has very thick slice of beef, other phở places have very thin slices of beef instead. We had the third try of their food and that was the last time as well.

I’ve never gotten phở soup with so much beef in it! I ordered combination need phở and have never ever gotten so many pieces of meet and tripe.
I do think that Phở Sapa (also in manassas /​close to bristow) has better tasting broth.
I gave 4 stars not 5 because they could not deliver although they advertise delivery. He said he was short staffed and usually would deliver.

Awesome phở… $ 9 for an enormous take-​out portion with toms of meat, noodles and all the accoutrements. Staff is always friendly. Look for the $ 5 off $ 15 coupon on the back of your Giant receipt if you shop at the one on Sudley!

My boyfriend and I ordered their delivery service for dinner. First I want to say that we have very high expectations when it comes to Phở, and we didn’t think we would find a place comparable to our favorite place in Manassas. But we decided to try these guys out so that on those days we don’t feel like going anywhere we can just order from here.
We were so pleasantly surprised and would like to say that the Phở is amazing. Its right up with our favorite place in Manassas, if not dare I say, could be slightly better. We ordered the Shrimp Phở with crispy eggrolls. The shrimp was fresh, the extras (onions, green onions, bean sprouts etc) were fresh. The broth is amazing. They give you plenty of the hoisin and sirracha as well. The only thing we were disappointed with was the size of the eggrolls. The other places we have gone they serve you large, thick eggrolls. The ones we got were fairly small. The flavor and taste was still there, don’t get me wrong, we just wished they were bigger.
Highly recommend this place. I believe it only took about 35 – 40 mins for the delivery. Google maps say I live 5.5 miles from the establishment, so I was surprised that they delivered as well. Very friendly over the phone and in person. Will definitely order from them again!

Good: The quality of cooking, ingredients, and taste of the food are all excellent.
As far as the broth goes, this is my favorite.
Bad: the meat portions in the phở are very small.
If hungry, I would need to order an appetizer in addition, or go to another place that includes more meat.

Of all the Phở in Manassas this is now the best in the area. My wife and I eat a lot of Phở and Phở Time keeps us coming back because of the quality, consistency, and friendly atmosphere. If you like Phở you have to give it a try.

This is the best tasting Phở I have found in Manassas. The environment is also nice, as is the service.

What had 5-​star potential plummeted to 2-​star due to service and management issues, not to food.
Young female waitress was awful. I dined with my elderly parents, and she repeatedly called us «you guys.» «Huh» was another favorite, and the worst was when we asked her what type of meat is in the meatballs, she rubbed her nose with the palm of her hand from down low to up… Hard to explain, but seeing and hearing that wasn’t appetizing. She answered our meat question with several «I dunno’s»; just as I was ready to ask her if she could check with the kitchen on that, she said she thinks it’s pork. Yes, definitely pork.
She literally ran to the kitchen and back. She asked if we were ready to order. I said yes, and started speaking. She ran off without saying anything (and I mean literally ran, not walked), grabbed her order form, and ran back.
We ordered 1 large meatball phở and 2 large phở with no meat.
She brought out a pair of condiment bottles (hoisin and sir at’cha) that were dirty (see photo). The floors were dirty, too (see photo). There was only 1 other table of customers; they were not busy. Ick on the dirtiness.
Waitress brought out forks and placed them upside down on our napkins. Never seen that before… Ha!
The no meat phở was delicious. This is my typical phở I order, and because it’s meatless, they always charge less… Either a large for price of small, or $ 2.00 off. Here they charged full price for no meat phở, unfortunately.
As for the meatball phở, that was NOT pork like she said it was. Our waitress disappeared and we never saw her again. The other waiter took over. We asked him what type of meat it was, and he said tendon and beef with tapioca. Had we been informed correctly when we ordered, we wouldn’t have gotten that.
I told him the waitress said it was pork and he said «oh.» No apology, no attempt to make it right. By the way, he was also running. I’ve seen plenty of wait staff hustle, but to run?! Ha! Kind of stressed me out, actually, as I was trying to relax and enjoy a leisurely meal. Also, we were never asked, after our food arrived, if everything was ok or if we needed anything else. He also brought the check prior to clearing the dishes off the table.
For these reasons, 2 stars, and I’ll wait a while before I return for the service issues to be corrected, and I’ll call ahead to see if they bettered their non-​meat phở price. If not, there are plenty if other phở places around.

I was excited for a new phở place here and hoping it would be great. This place didn’t blow me away.
The chicken phở was great; the chicken was great quality and I liked it a lot. Star deductions are for the spring rolls.
The thick slab of pork, slices of carrot, and mint were a turn off compared to other places who don’t prepare them that way. I couldn’t take more than one bite. There was also a lot of filler and only two small shrimp. If they improve, I’ll definitely reconsider my review.
Update: ordered delivery the other night since I said I would reconsider and try again. Since the response to my review indicated I could customize the summer roll, I gave it another shot. First — there is nowhere on the online order system to customize anything even though it says you can. And I’m glad I called to place the order since they said they actually had no one to deliver at that time. So we asked for only shrimp, the lettuce and noodles. Disappointed that it also came stuffed with carrots and cucumber. Picked it out. Also, the rolls were microscopic. Won’t order them in any form again. Asked for no onion in the phở — came with a layer of white onion at the top of the broth. Still quite underwhelmed even though I really wanted to like this place. Didn’t deduct and stars — the bubble tea made up for it but it’s all I’ll plan to get here if I ever go back.

Phở time! It’s a hole in the wall but man the food is great, I had spicy lemon grass phở w/​beef, it was so good… The portions are just right and the goldan (fish souce) wings for appetizer are crispy and delicious!
