I have been seeing this doctor for 4 yrs now. Seemed fine until she moved her practice to Manasass. Now her hours are slim to none. She is very rushed and makes you wait in the your room for you exam for hours. I have had multiple problems with prescription renewals. I had an annual appointment and she cancelled it on me. I only see her once a year. This is not the practice I would recommend anyone to go to. She is only a GYN doctor, so she is not off delivering babies when she is cancelling appointments or late to office.
Find someone who has time to hear your concerns. She had me on hormones that cost alot. My new doctor said I only need one hormone and I can find the cheapest cost for me.

I switched doctors cause I thought she was just plain rude. I booked the first appointment of the day hoping that I wouldn’t have to wait long and wouldn’t have to take much time off of work. My appt was for 9am and at about 9:15 she had called her receptionist to say she would be late and to cancel her morning appointments. I overheard the conversation and when the receptionist didn’t alert us to this right away, I approached her at the desk and asked. Only then did she tell us, yes, the doctor won’t be in this morning. How rude is that? I never went back.

I saw this doctor twice in 2002. The 1^st visit concluded with suspicion of fibroids. After reviewing my ultrasound images, she decided to perform an in-​office hysteroscopy on me at the 2^nd visit. That was a mistake! The procedure was painful and messy, and she was so busy she had to step out the room to see other patients in the middle of the procedure. And then she came back and told me ‘I’m sorry, I wasn’t able to get the tube through, we’ll have to try this some other time.’ By then I was bloody and in extreme pain, even her nurse felt sorry for me. Needless to say, I never went back to Dr. De Cosimo again. Anyone who cares about their health should not see this doctor. And to think, she’s board certified! Scary~
