Worst haircut ever. I could have cut it myself better! Uneven. Very fast, but very bad

Hair cut was good, my hair is not tough and $ 5.99 with a coupon is great. Tipped well, because the upfront cost was low.

Jerry is the man! I’ve been to this location many times and Jerry does a great job every time. However, the other folks there are not as good at their trade. Very nice and friendly people though.

Great Clips at Galveston Court is such a mixed bag. Some stylists have skills and some don’t.
Ji (Pronounced jee) cut my daughter’s bangs this day.
Ji was friendly and personable but could not cut bangs nearly as well as Kaitlin. My 4 year old daughter’s bangs were choppy, uneven, and I will have to get them redone somewhere else.
When the bang trim was done and my little girl stepped on the foot bar to get out of the chair, the chair turned sharply and my daughter fell to the floor hurting herself on some power cords. A more experienced stylist would have known to hold the back of the chair steady when a customer stands up.
I was going to have my own hair cut, also, but after seeing my daughter’s bangs, I opted not to.
Great Clips needs to have an online customer survey available so customers don’t have to complain on their Facebook page or on Unilocal.

Kaitlin cut my daughter’s bangs and did a great job. The band framed her face nicely, weren’t choppy, and had blended edges.
Kaitlin is the stylist I would choose every time if I could.

A few weeks ago I went in and got the perfect cut. I went in today, they asked if I wanted the same thing as last time and showed me a print out with the specifications on it. I agreed and then instead of taking a ¼″ off the top she left about a ¼″ on. I expected her to take a bit off the top but she took way too much. I won’t be back unless I can reserve the stylist who cut my hair a few weeks ago.

Had okay luck here and at Liberia stores before: I know a cheap haircut is a cheap haircut but have often felt it is fine if all you need is a trim. No more! Just got the worst haircut of my life! The stylist did exactly what I told her not to in about 3 different ways! I ended up just telling her to stop bc she wasn’t listening to what I wanted and I was afraid of losing more hair! Lesson learned once and for all! Will not be going to GC anymore!

Been going there for a few years — has worked out OK when I Make Sure the haircut is Right before I leave! Use coupons, and know which stylists do a good job, so avoid the others! But they do have too much turnover, so best to call and see who is working before you go. You can sign up online, but anybody over 1 hour is deleted!

5:50 PM — walk in and sit down. 3 stylists in the store. 2 cutting hair and 1 sweeping the floor.
6:05 PM — one of the ladies cutting hair finishes, rings up customer, stands around for awhile then notices me. «I’m sorry but we close at 6pm. I’m surprised no one told you. We open again at 9AM tomorrow. You can come back then.»

Good prices and good haircut. The older gentlemen who cut my hair was very friendly and talkative. He has been in the hair cutting business for a long time and knew his trade. Even though he talked a lot I was still in and out of the chair in a timely manner.

Kim was the stylist who butchered my 11-​yo daughter’s hair. My girl went in for a trim and came out with almost 11 inches hacked off and in layers. Kim denied cutting that much off and then after an hour admitted making a mistake and gave a tearful apology. Their staff was less than professional. I spoke to the owner Lorezo mc Rae who promised to do her hair for free until the layers grew out. Next day, We went to see Davida, the manager and she reiterated the guarantee to do her hair each week until the layers grew out. I asked the owner for their guarantee in writing and he balked. I met with him so he could see my daughter and then he said he would only see her for six weeks although it may take longer than that to repair. He assured me that Kim is being sent for additional training and his staff is receiving customer service instruction. He refused to give me his professional insurance info and told me to sue him. Great clips corporate doesn’t stand behind their guarantee either. He and his brother own both Manassas stores. Don’t patronize.
