I am sorry but I really appreciated her caring, compassionate nature when I first starting going to her. She seemed to really understand women’s issues. I felt she really cared about me and my care. HOWEVER, when I went to her on an emergency basis after a severe allergic reaction to an antibiotic, I was shocked at the lack of compassion and professionalism. The reaction caused me to have severe anxiety and retain water! I was so swollen, so hurting and scared! Her response to me,“Are you sure you have not been squeaking take out?” I was could not believe my ears! I said, NO! I am never this swollen .She said to me as she kept poking my wrist, «Well you are quite puffy! Just keep it under 200 pounds!» I could not believe I was getting weight loss counseling, even though it was clear 20 pounds of it was water retention no thanks to levaquin. I will not be going back to be insulted again.

I’ve been going to Dr. Fitzgerald for years since she was at another practice in Gainesville and have been very pleased with the care that I’ve received. She’s very kind, reassuring and easy to talk with and I’ve never felt that she’s rushing through the appointment to get to the next patient. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a primary care physician.

I think Dr. Fitzgerald is amazing! She has been my primary Dr for almost 15 years. She’s the Dr for my parents, siblings, and kids as well. She knows her stuff and I wouldn’t go to anyone else. Connie is great too!

I love Dr. Fitzgerald! I have been her patient for over 3 years. She is very warm and knowledgeable. She takes her time to exame a patient and discuss best tx options. Her staff is very nice as well.
