Eye Brow Designer 21

I had been going back and forth on getting my eyebrows threaded for a long time now. I had many people tell me how much it hurt. So I finally dragged my best friend with me yesterday to do it with me and we both absolutely loved it! It’s a small store, but a perfect size for what it is. We waited about 5 minutes which was no problem and we were done in less then that. It honestly was not painful to me. waxing hurts me more than that did. I loved it and will definitely be going back. It makes it even better that both of the girls eyebrows working there are fantastic! lol

Haven’t gone back here in almost a year because last time I went there they threaded my lip, and got part of my lip stuck in the thread! It hurt so badly and actually left part of my lip permanently messed up! I used to go here because of my sensitive skin, their reasonable prices, and how my skin wouldn’t be as red as long afterwards, but it’s not worth it anymore. I’m in beauty school so I’ve learned what types of hair removals are better for sensitive skin, and personally I think cold (aka hard) wax is the best. If you’re thinking about getting your hair threaded, try hard wax instead first. It’s like regular wax, but you don’t use strips and it’s better for sensitive skin. I’ve been getting myself waxed with hard wax for about 10 months now and I absolutely love it… For me it also hurts a lot less. You can call your local salon and ask what type of wax they have. If they don’t use it feel free to go to a different salon. Personally I go to Iva Bella Salon.

Been coming here for the past few months and they do a great job. After years of waxing my eyebrows were very thin and misshapen. But now they have grown thicker and longer. She shapes my eyebrows the way I want them and it lasts me about 3 weeks.

Had it done for the first time weeks ago. Loved it. Nice people. Hurt like a b tho. The stand in the mall are the same people too. Went to her my second time, she did great as well. I’ll keep going.

If you’ve never had your eyebrows threaded, I personally think it is leaps and bounds ahead of waxing, even though it’s been around for many, many years! I’ve never been here when there was more than a 5 minute wait. Quick, (relatively) painless, and professional.
This location is actually a little more expensive than the EyeBrow Designer 21 in the Pentagon City mall ($ 15 compared to $ 12, I believe), but this location has its own store in the Manassas Mall, as opposed to just a kiosk with everyone staring at you as they walk by. Recommended!

This place is in Manassas Mall. I get my eyebrows threaded here pretty regularly. I love it! They do a great job shaping and thinning my eyebrows in just a couple of minutes. It’s no more painful than waxing or tweezing and costs about $ 10. I highly recommend. :)
