Dr. Joe does have a kind of salesman like feel to the office at the beginning (as stated in another review) but if you want to talk serious, he is right there with you immediately (because I did and he did). He is just a genuinely gregarious person who tries to keep it light with his patients to make them feel comfortable and happy. I noticed most patients leaving their session laughing. If you need a chiropractor for adjustments and who knows the back, I have no doubt as to his ability and knowledge. His expertise is obvious when he works with you and that’s what I look for: people who have mastered their field.

I just had my initial visit and will post an update after I have gone a few times. My first impression was excellent. I have been to chiropractors in the past who just took x-​rays without doing a real exam or patient history — not so at this practice. The Dr. sat down and got a really detailed history of previous accidents, back pain on a typical day, headaches etc. He then did a comprehensive exam where he had me turn my head/​neck/​back and was able to pinpoint the exact spots that were in pain (I know it was correct because he pressed on the identical spot on the other side of my back with the same pressure and it didn’t hurt). Very impressed with what I have seen so far. They do make you watch a 5-​minute video about chiropractic care that was kind of cheesy (but kind of entertaining) but if you can get through that then you’re fine. My impression was that Dr. M is very thorough and seems to be well educated on my specific problems (not just the typical back/​neck pain but also jaw issues).

Do not go to this place. It’s a scam. I should’ve known on my first visit, when «Dr. Joe» came in and said to me, «We’re going to help you feel better and do you know how? Not by medication, not by surgery but through chiropractic care!» that I should have run and not looked back. All that was missing was «and it could be yours for 3 easy payments of $ 29.99.» «Dr. Joe» is creepy and gives off that pushy used car salesman vibe. I did not feel better while under his care, in fact my back got worse. I have 2 other friends from my gym who stopped going to him because it was a waste of time. One of them ended up needing back surgery but I’m sure «Dr.Joe» didn’t tell her that because remember he can fix everything through chiropractic care. He only cares about how many people he can get through the door so that he can make money. If you are experiencing back pain or other pain go to a real doctor. Don’t waste your time with this place.
