Stayed at the twin oaks motel with a few girlfriends to go to the shore for the weekend. There was a VERY nice man who worked there that was extremely accommodating to us, even gave us a full-​sized mirror when we needed one (4 girls, one small bathroom mirror clearly did not suffice). We were lucky enough to stay in the SHOWCASE ROOM, which was a pleasure and felt like we were VIP. There is one lady that works there who was extremely unpleasant, however, her coworker (I wish I got his name) was the sweetest man on planet earth. Had a great stay with some great friends.

I have returned 3 times and each stay gets Better and Better… The Room is Spotless, Bed Comfy, Pool is Refreshing and who needs a Movie Theator with a 52″ Flat
…The owner Charles and staff are very Hospitable… perfectly located near many beaches and even a place for my dog. It doesn’t get any better than this… i hate to Leave…

This is really just a basic motel, but it’s clean & comfortable. The rooms appear to have been renovated fairly recently. Our room had a queen bed and a twin bed, a minifridge, microwave, window AC, and a 50″ flat screen TV. There was an in-​ground pool as well but it was already closed for the season. My only gripe is that while there were complimentary bars of soap in the bathroom, there was no shampoo (and none available from the front desk).

Unfortunately you can’t give negative stars because this place is far below even a one star rating. It makes the bates motel look like the ritz Carlton. Sure, your thinking it doesn’t matter its just a place to crash after a night of boozing at the osprey… WRONG! The owner makes Adolf Hitler look like a teletubby. He snuck into our room while we were out and went through our stuff and he wanted $ 20 per head over two. Meanwhile, the sea girt motel less than a mile away is the same rate with only a $ 5 charge per head over 2 And they have tile in the bathroom unlike the layer of mold that covers the floor at the bates err twin oaks motel. I truly can’t say enough negative about it. STAY AWAY!
