My friends and I rent from Paddleworks every time we’re in town. They have quality boards and are located in a great location. The water was very calm and easy to navigate, and the instructors are very helpful. The first time I ever attempted to paddle board was with Paddleworks, I was a little worried ahead of time that it would be difficult and I’d be left on my own but that wasn’t the case at all. They were with me every step until I felt comfortable and paddled off on my own. I highly recommend this company and will continue to use them in the future!

I recently purchased a two hour sup package from PaddleWorks and was very pleased with the experience. Jason the owner was professional and polite. Manasquan Bay is a good option for you P, the water is calm and clear enough to see two feet down. Most of the water we have had it on is shallow enough to stand on.
They also provide teaching service for noobs.
There were several families and couples using the boards in the bay.
It was a very enjoyable time…

booked a 1 Hour rental and was extremely pleased with the outcome. I showed up a few minutes late due to beach traffic thinking my time would be docked, however, when I arrived I met the owner, Jason, who was more than understanding. I was very nervous as it was my first time; thinking I would just be shipped out onto the water with no instruction. Jason actually took our tutorial a step further and came out on the water with us to show us how to turn and make sure we felt 100% comfortable being on the board. I had such an amazing time that I am already hooked to the sport and booking another rental for next weekend to bring friends. Jason is a very involved owner and treated us as if we had been friends for years. It is also worth noting when researching other area companies, Paddleworks was definitely the most professional and has the some of the highest certified instructors (if not the highest) on the east coast. Can’t wait to come again. Thank you!

Took my first SUP lesson with Jason at Paddleworks. I had a blast! Excellent customer service and professionalism. Jason is very knowledgeable and thorough with his instruction, really focusing on the skills and techniques to advance in the sport. I would highly recommend anyone looking to get into SUP to go to Paddleworks!

We recently purchased a pair of used paddleboards from Jason and the experience was great.
My wife has rented a SUP before and was really interested in getting her own. Jason set up a time to meet and even allowed us to take out the boards we liked on a trial run. We both enjoyed it so much that we bought the boards and Jason helped me tie them down in my truck. He gave me some pointers and was very thorough in showing us the many boards he had. Jason was full of knowledge and experience and it shows. If you are looking for an instructor Jason is the man!

If you’re looking for a paddleboard rental or lesson, this is the spot! The instructors are awesome and made sure we all had a great time. If you’ve never done it before then you should definitely try, it’s easy to learn and a great workout. You will not be disappointed!
