Been buying over last year several years TV’s, Appliances, gas Grill, and stereo equipment. Pricing was always lowest compared to any other store including Best Buy. I am very impressed with sales associate Jeff, who has taken care of my needs this year. He was not only so accommodating and patient with me, but very knowledgable about the products and specifications. I recommended my son to also work with him for a TV and a dishwasher and Jeff took great care of him, even though he lived in New York. Also great service department! Had an issue with our washer recently under extended 5 year warranty. No hassle — they scheduled their service technician to my house very timely without any disruption to our use. I highly recommend PC RICHARDS in Manalapan and especially Jeff.

If it could give this place less stars I would. The manager Rob is the nastiest most miserable human I’ve ever dealt with. If he’s so pissed he has to «deal with customers» he should find another job. Dealing with the public and customer service is not a strong point for him. He puts you on hold 3 time in a 1 minute conversation. In the middle of you talking and explaining yourself he does it too. He is so rude. I work in customer service and I know how customers should be spoke to. He does not. I’ve been waiting for something for over 6 MONTHS, yes months. Disgraceful. He has no accountability. He keeps blaming it on everyone else. If I don’t call to check in it’s like my issue doesn’t exsist because he’s never checked in or giving a status update. I’ve spent a lot of money in this establishment and the Richards should reconsider who is representing their business. Horrible experience will never go back and I will tell others not to deal with this miserable man and business

We bought all our appliances from PC Richards this week. Price was definitely a factor but the most important factor in going with them was their customer service. We dealt with Robert, the general manager and with Mark and Alex who helped us throughout. They are not pushy, very patient and extremely knowledgeable. You will enjoy the experience. Thanks to the team at Manalapan. We highly recommend them.

Bought a tablet for my son, a Nexus 7, the price was no different than the price of any other store, since the tablet is just about 230 $ I wouldn’t expect to save anything, but I preferred PC Richards. The «Replacement» Plan was 69 $, mind this is about a 230 $ tablet, so I walk out happy and satisfied after 300 $ spent on a tablet. Well, every single other store (even amazon’s replacement plan for about 30 $) provides drop and spill damage, this one doesn’t, but nobody ever cared to make sure to mention it, and of course you wouldn’t spend half hour in a store reading all the fine prints of the «Replacement» plan, so I spent 300 $ on a tablet with an extra year of warranty, nothing more. Well, the day comes after a little over a year that the tablet’s screen cracks (it’s probably the only thing it will ever brake on a tablet) and guess what, I got there, and a very rude lady with a very annoyed attitude informs me that they can’t do anything. Well, I have to buy a new one now, but you can put your hands on the fire, it won’t be at PC Richards.
You want peace of mind, choose another chain to buy your electronics, in the past Best Buy replaced a piece of equipment on the spot, no questions asked.

You all will be glad to know that I received absolutely NO ANSWER from PC Richards. Not even a reply to my email to tell me «sorry you should have read the fine prints».
If you have to buy equipment that can easily break STAY AWAY from PC Richards. Their protection plan is a joke.

What sets this store apart from the competition is how they treat their customers, your not just a $ figure to them, they genuinely want to make sure you get the right product and understand what you are looking for, top notch service.

I have to say this was the best electronic buyig experience I’ve ever had. I can’t speak for every department in the store, but I was looking for a new tv and dealt with Alex. I did my research in models and prices and basically knew what i wanted and what i could get it for. I brought my buddy with me who as been an audio/​video fanatic since I’ve known him. He also happens to do it for a living. We talked for a while and within a few minute we knew that Alex really did know his shit! That’s a rare thing in the world of audio/​video. Any way, I told him what I could get the set for and he spoke to his manager. Came back right away and said «OK» I didn’t have to argue. Didn’t have to listen to any bullshit stories. Just a straight up negotiation and sale. I was so happy with the way things went, I went ahead and bought a few extras I needed to go with the tv. On the day I picked it up, I met the manager Goodman. Very nice guy and seems easy to deal with. I am now in need of a new 3D blue ray player, and as soon as I get the chance, I will going back to this PC Richards to get it !!
A very well run store with a good selection of products. Like most of the majors, they will beat or match other prices if they can. I even ended up getting the warranty, which is something I almost never do. The price usually doesn’t justify it, but their warranty was very reasonable. I can’t speak for all of the items they carry, but if you are looking for anything video, ask for Alex. He will point you in the right direction!
