Cut down your own Christmas Tree, but have some time to spare as it takes a while for them to pack it up. All the employees were working as quickly as they could.

This was by far the best Christmas tree shopping experience I have ever had. There is a HUGE selection of trees. Many of the«choose your own tree» places have only tiny trees. The tree sizes here ranged from babies to well over twelve feet. There are different varieties as well: Blue Spruce, Frasier fir, Douglas, etc. They have a petting zoo for the kids, Santa, and a gift shop. We cut our own tree — they provide the saws. Then they tag it and pick it up in their little trolley so you needn’t carry it to the checkout. They will cut it for you if that’s not your bag, though. We will definitely return next year. The price was right, too; they price by the foot. I highly recommend coming here. I don’t see how anyone could be disappointed.

I have actually been coming to this Christmas tree farm since I was a child. I moved to a new town with my wife and we wanted to get a tree. I followed signs on Route 33 for a tree farm and we ended up here. I called my dad later that day and asked him if this was the same place and he told me it was. What a coincidence. This farm first is huge. They have miles of trees and every different type of tree that you could want. If you want to cut it down yourself and drag it back by yourself they will let you do it. If you just want to cut it down by yourself and leave the hauling to someone eles they always have a large group of employees walking around and tractors that will take your tree back for you. They do have a large number of saws you can use but I would recommend bringing your own. Sometimes there are one to many Clark Griswolds here for the day and all the saws are being used. Happened to me once so just something to think about. Also wear a pair of work boots or something you can get dirty. This is a tree farm. If it rained or snowed the day before it will be muddy. They don’t grow trees on marble floors. This year a group of women were wearing high heels a day after it rained. Really? As far as pricing you can get a 9 foot tree for about $ 65.00 dollars. If you really don’t want to walk around much either they have a good section of pre-cut trees they keep up front for those that just want to look real quick and be done with it. They pretty much offer up all the different ways anyone could want to get a real tree. When you are done getting a tree they always have Santa waiting to take pics with the family outside. They also have a food stand where you can get sausage and pepper subs or a funnel cake. They have a small christmas ornament shop and you can pretty much buy anything that you would need for Christmas at the other shops. They even have some goats and other small animals you can buy feed for and have your kids feed some animals. This place realy has it all if you are looking to make getting a real tree a litlte more fun that standing in a parking lot on Route 9. The funny thing is a few couples we know asked us about getting a real tree and we told them about this place. The day we were getting our tree we saw three of them walking around as well. If you want a real tree this is a great place to go. Also don’t forget to bring a few extra bucks to tip the guy who ties the tree to the top of your car!

I have been slacking in my Unilocal’ing lately but I had such a great experience that I had to come and write a review the day after we scored our wonderful tree. I was a little incredulous about finding a quality tree farm in Manalapan but Ann-Ellen did not disappoint. As we rounded the bend on Daum rd. I could see trees… so many trees. As we pulled in I knew we were in Christmas tree heaven. There were trees as far as the eye could see. My husband and I went on a Tuesday and it was fantastic-no one there but us! We spend over an hour traveling the grounds and choosing the perfect tree for us. The young(isn) guy working there was super friendly, helpful, and informative about the types of trees, where to find the tress, and what exactly to do(it was our first time actually cutting down our own tree). All trees under 9′ were 60 and then they went up from there. It was worth it for such a great experience. We will be returning to Ann-Ellen for many years to come.

I had a beautiful time here with my family. I come from California and it just happened to be snowing here today and what an amazing experience we had! Everyone working here is so friendly and helpful. Santa is even here and you can visit with him and take pictures with him as many times as you want. You can tell he loves spending time with the kids! There are so many trees to choose from and you can borrow a saw and go out and cut in yourself! There are cute little shops and a small food stand that even sells hot chocolate! I am so happy that I got the opportunity to visit this place and do plan on making it a tradition to go here and cut our tree!
