This is a very pleasant park centrally situated to the downtown area, Mammoth Spring State Park, and the Spring River. The park’s staff were very friendly and helpful. The bathroom and shower facility was private and quite functional. We almost passed this place up because a review that I read elsewhere said it was only for small RV’s and tent campers.
While it is a small park, it is able to handle larger RV’s. Even though it has 30 and 50 amp service, the 50 amp service sites were already taken.
A lot of people come to this area to fish and do float trips down the Spring River, which is fed primarily from the 9+ million gallons a day coming from Mammoth Spring, where there is a very nice State Park.
