Very basic fried chicken and sides with donuts offered as well. The seating area is small with a handful of tables, nothing to block the cold blast of air every time the door opened. We had the chicken pot pie which was fairly tasty and was not skimpy with the meat. This place is not for the crowd that desires farm-raised, grass-fed, or organic. It has basic prices for basic Sysco food. Food tastes pretty good but probably isn’t really good for you.

This place is advertised as both a donut store and restaurant. We didn’t try the donuts but for breakfast it was very poor. The coffee was old and burned and all the breakfast entries are frozen packaged food they just warm up! Yes, plastic wrapped eggs put in a microwave, packaged biscuits and microwave bacon. We should have noticed everyone else was ordering donuts but missed it. I don’t know what they offer for other meals, they had a sign saying they won an award for the fried chicken, but this isn’t a breakfast place.

Jimmy’s is a hole in the wall type place, but the owner uses all of the old KFC recipes for his chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy and everything! It is so delicious and I’m so happy to be able to get it even though KFC is no longer making the tasty chicken they once did. They also sell doughnuts, apple fritters, and other deserty items. It is delicious!

I still haven’t made it here to try the chicken, but if what I hear from everyone else in town, this place rocks! Can’t wait to try it next time I am back!
