Dallas, TX
Driving west from Little Rock, got a craving for BBQ. Came to Malvern, AR. Looked like nothing but fast food for another 60 miles, so I punched BBQ into the Garmin GPS and up came this place. This is a quintessential American BBQ shack. Ordered 2 lb of ribs (pork) plus drinks for me, the wife, and kids. Wow, were they ever tasty! There’s a whole line of awards under the counter inside the shack that you have to look for to see. Well deserved. For an extra 2 minutes of driving, this place «smokes» the chains right off I-​30. Very friendly service, free refills on drinks. Gonna make this «pit» stop a tradition!
