The Publik House

Save your money! There are too many other good restaurants in the area. Boneless chix wings were so hard you could break your teeth. Fantail shrimp were boxed, frozen and over cooked. The waitress was abrasive and rude. She was even belittling the younger waitress in front of costumers. Popcorn was even stale. Never again.

I have never stepped inside this restaurant, but a few weekends ago my husband and I ordered 2 pizzas to go for our nieces and nephew.
I was surprised at how delicious the pizza was. I’ve heard good things from this place, but honestly it’s my new pizza place.
Big thick crust, right amount of toppings and cheese, and the sauce was really good.
We did not try any of the specialty pizzas (there’s a ton to choose from) but we plan to in the future.
Definitely a must for pizza pick up!

Haven’t been in quite some time. Went yesterday and it was awful. The atmosphere sucked, the bartender had no personality and the pizza was nothing like we remember. Just awful. Won’t be going back.

Stopped in for lunch while on a business trip… very good food and prompt courteous service. I strongly would recommend this place. good selection of beers as well.

Love their pizza. Good flavors. Crust is normally decent. Sauce is pleasant. We normally get apps first, fried things, and they always come fast and hot. The husband didn’t care much for his sandwich… open faced turkey with stuffing, I think, but his complaint was more that it was bland than bad. House wine is decent. They are great at keeping sodas full and taking plates/​finished drinks off the table. Overall, one of my faves.

Pizza is fantastic however very loud atmosphere n dark at the bar waitress are not very attentive to customers. Night I was there we had a table on the opposite side of room with a women so loud n a cackling laugh I asked to box up my meal and we left .
They have a few good sandwiches n pizza can’t go wrong other then that I’m good with the establishment

Pizza here on Good Friday… place was packed. After 15 min wait– finally a table. Pizza-​Good. Service was excellent. Price was low. Tip was large.
Will return.

Publik House is overall an okay place. It’s nothing special, though.
We came here last Sunday for lunch. The place was fairly quiet, which is probably due to the fact that Ripe Tomato next door offers a mega brunch every Sunday.
SERVICE: We didn’t get our server’s name, but she was okay. She was a bit lackadaisical on getting us drink refills, which I could understand if the place was packed, but we were the only patrons there for the first half hour.
FOOD: Also okay. We each had sandwiches. My gf got a reuben while I got a prime rib sandwich with au jus (French dip). My gf said her reuben was all right and that she enjoyed the sweet potatoe fries. My French dip was about ¹⁄₃ fat, and for $ 11.99 I felt that was kind of a letdown.
VALUE: This place tends to drift toward the pricier side compared to other local restaurants. It’s not a complete ripoff, but you can definitely find a better bang for the buck without looking hard.
TL;DR: The Publik House is just another American restaurant with prices that might make you believe you were in Saratoga Springs.
