I was in need of a professional mover on short notice. I called Spina’s and they were quick to pick up the phone, answer all my questions and schedule a move date/time. They showed up on time, with the necessary moving guys and supplies and worked hard to get my items unloaded quickly and safely. If I ever have to move out of this slice of paradise Ill use Spina’s again.

I needed a semi-big move from my home in West LA to another home & storage unit. I decided to use this moving company as recommended by my business partner who said they did a great job for him many years ago. They do commercial moves so that made me feel comfortable as I truly dislike moving my things around. Im writing this because they not only moved my precious things(table and couches imported from Italy) but they checked every single box and gave me inventory sheets so I could locate my things in storage. They took a load off my shoulders– nothing was damaged not even a ding, so I’m definitely recommending these guys to anyone who is moving and cherishes their belongings as much as I do!

I have used Spina’s Moving & Storage for years. Years ago it was the most personalble moving company I had ever used. They had a guy named Curt who handled everything like a pro or so I thought. That last time I had to move my former husbands possessions into a storage facility, because he had passed away I called spina’s. The furniture sat there for a little over two years. when I finally had a place to move it to, I moved it to my loft. When it arrived there were three leather sofa cushions missing. I was baffled. Where could three cushions go? They could not be used without the sectional. I called Spina’s inquiring if they had any recollection of where they could have gone. The did not know. Curt who origianlly did my move no longer works there and he has been replaced by Steve Spina’s girlfriend. Fellicia. Today I called because my last email was never answered. When Felicia answered the phone without a business introduction, like hello. Spina’s I asked if it was indeed Spina’s. She said yes. Then she told me she would not talk to me and to call back and leave a message, which I did. Felicia then called me back less than five minutes latter, called me a bitch and told me that she would call the Police on me the next time I called. WOW. what a way to run a business. I guess a customer is not entitled to know why a business has not gotten back to them. I called Steve’s other phone number in Santa Monica and sent an email asking what the heck is going on. I pay him $ 165 a month to store my other furniture and am never late. Is he trying to ruin his reputation and his business? Who knows? All I know is that since he turned his business over to Felicia Defarro it’s like doing business with a nightmare. I will never recommend SPINA“S to anyone ever. It is really a total shame that such a well respected business and owner should be dragged to such a level of unacceptable as this one has. Here is a copy of my email just for the record. Hi Steve, I was wondering if you received the estimate I sent you through the gentleman I was told would help facilitate my cushions being made for the leather sectional. I searched around town and found a place that would rebuild the three missing sofa cushions and dye the leather to match the remaining sofa. The man works at a place on La Brea called«Heaven» his name is Patrick Ruiz and he gave me an estimate of $ 1,700.00. I have waited patiently for an answer and have not gotten one yet. I am so sorry to bother you with this as I know you turned it over, but nothing has been done. I would really love to hear from you. I don’t understand why Felicia is so rude, it’s actually sad to see how your company is being run after years of being a very good place to give my business to. Please let me know what we can do about this. As a long time loyal customer I think I am owed an explanation why Felicia just phoned me and told me that she would file a Police report on me if I ever called again? I don’t get it. I haven’t called you in months. You definitely have a problem over there. I pay my storage fees every month on time. Do you want me to get the piano and my furniture out? Please let me know.
