Alexis Bittar

This Alexis Bittar boutique is amazing and the people who work there are consistently friendly. I always have a great experience here and highly recommend this location. If you are a fan of Alexis Bittar you already know the jewelry is stunning, especially with new collections being introduced seasonally. Come here to view a wide selection that will take your breath away. The LA 3^rd street location is smaller and the parking is a nightmare, so take the time to visit this location with a larger selection, friendly people, and shops and restaurants within walking distance.

A whole new world of jewelry was recently opened up for me. Until now, I had only known the Alexis Bittar line to include softly hued bangles at Nordstrom and that this jewelry line was often promoted by the 4 stars of Sex in the City. I never cared about it much until… I saw them at the Malibu Lumber Yard, so I thought, let’s go see what all the fuss is about if the fashionistas of SITC think they’re such a huge deal. Their bangles at Nordstrom just never really appealed to me all that much. Nice, yes, but amazing, not for me. So, I walked in, and I was greeted by a lovely young lady named Kelly. She struck up a conversation with me as my eyes were completely taken with what I was viewing. Gorgeous earrings, necklaces and rings (don’t even remember seeing their bangles) both in terms of shape, color and design. Some of Bittar’s pieces popped with magnificent color, not at all the soft muted shades I have always seen. Blasts of bright neon green amid bold turquoise. I was in shock… and I was in love. With Kelly, I discussed how my daughter has always been a huge fan, and when she comes to visit in a few months, I plan to bring her back here because it’s her birthday. What I didn’t realize is that I will bring her back alright, but I’m coming back with MYSELF in mind. While the price tags are quite sizable, I got a decent amount of money for my 60^th birthday quite recently, and I have my mind set on something from here. I LOVE HER EARRINGS. Gorgeous, and to me, worth it.
That all being said, though, I must tell you something about this store that has never happened to me in all my 60 years… except here. This store assistant, Kelly, with whom I chatted up a storm, sent me an email the following day… (who does that??)… and she proceeded to say how much she enjoyed meeting me; she recanted parts of our discussion, which showed me what a great memory she had; not to mention, she was listening. I was super impressed. Perhaps, that is how people of a different (better) financial class are treated… I surely wouldn’t know about that… but regardless, I was just so taken away with her gesture. It is a certainty that I will return, and if anyone deserves to get my business, it is Kelly. She was/​is a delight, and if I can afford it, I hope she is still there at the end of September when I plan to return.
