Mimi’s Roast Beef & Seafood

I really didn’t want to give a star. So not happy. They used to be good. I ordered a steak and cheese sub with peppers, onion, mayo, and mustard toasted. Everything on the sub was accurate with the exception of the steak. I got hamburger patties instead. I could have dealt if the hamburger patties had even an ounce of flavor. The were basically flavorless charred patties. The sub came with fries. The fries were luke warm at best. They also had no salt so they were also flavorless. I asked for duck sauce on the side. That apparently was a no go. I called them and they offered to send a new one. I opted out. If the food i had was crappy and took forever to get i wasnt waiting for another bit of food that would supposedly going to be accurate. I asked for some money back. They said they would call me back. No such call. I ordered it from an app called eat 24. I commented into them. They stated i would get money back and i would get a new receipt with a corrected bill. I have not got that yet but at least they cared enough to contact me right away.

An 20 years old restaurant with satisfied food and reasonable price. Also come with delivery.

We order there about once a month and they always mess up our order. Today we ordered 2 fried chicken plates. When the food came they where chicken fingers not fried chicken and they sent rice with another meal that was supposed to have fries. I finally called because I was sick of them messing up. The said he would send the fried chicken and fries with a driver. When the driver got here he demanded the chicken fingers and rice back before he would give us the food so I gave them to him and he counted them then gave me the correct food. That was the nastiest thing I have ever seen! They messed up the order then we’re really rude to us on top of it. By the way there seafood gives you diarrhea and I wouldn’t feed the roast beef to my dog it is so gross! Save your money there is better places out there that won’t take used chicken fingers reheat them and serve them to someone else!

Best place to get roast beef in Malden. Always quick, reasonable prices and service is always great.

Foods usually good but the staff sucks. They told me 45 mins for a delivery and all I ordered was Curley fries and
took 1.5 hour no exaggeration and they forgot the soda ! Then he went back n kept calling me telling me he was at my house and had me waiting out in the cold when he was never really there, brought me cold n soggy fries and when I called to complain the guys were laughing and speaking in another language talking shit. I was so mad because I always ordered from there and they knew they and they were very rude and ignorant so I will from now on take my business else where.

My girl and I got seafood combo and a burger. The burger was perfect for $ 2.99. The seafood was freshly battered, but the scallops we’re a little salty. Over all, it was pretty good for the price.

This place is totally the worst place ever for delivery. Super Roast Beef Plate was absolutely ridiculous: Small Roast Beef on an Onion Roll with dry/​bland rice along with the most tasteless onion rings ever! Delivery was quick because they did not put too much emphasis on their food. So if you are planning to order here, make sure you either have a salt shaker with you or just lost total regard to your taste buds. So I may ask the owners…“Would you feed this crap to your kids?”

Just ordered a large pepperoni pizza and a Super Roast Beef Sandwich for delivery. It was a fast delivery under 30mins well because my house is just 3mins walks.
Anyway the Super Roast Beef Sandwich wasn’t that big which was fine. But the meat isn’t look red, the meat look over cooked. (acceptable as wasn’t something you would like to order again)
The pizza is not handmade! it is 100% from stop & stop frozen pizza. Once I open the tray I already know it is Frozen pizza!!. Very disappointed. I thought domino have worst pizza but this even worst lol. Im not against frozen pizza, but i expect a pizza made from scratch. If i know i will get frozen pizza i would not order from here.

Last week I stopped by and got their Eggplant Pita Pocket. It was so Balls Marie, I went back for another the next day.

As far as roast beef shacks go, Mimi’s is actually pretty good.
In particular, the fried chicken is my favorite. It’s crispy on the outside, served piping hot, and every bite is moist and delicious inside.
Sure, it’s not going to win any awards on décor, but that’s not why you’re going to Mimi’s. You’re going to Mimi’s because it’s midnight and you need a super beef with cheese and sauce inside your belly at all costs.
And that, my friends, is what Mimi’s is all about.

decent food, all I got was the super beef plate, pretty much exactly expect from any famous roast beef place. but what makes me post is the portion size… HUGE hearty sandwich basically a bucket of fries and good rings, nice little salad and a coke well worth the ten bucks… ps whatever their house dressing is, its awsome

Employees are so nice! I used to come here fairly often when I went to Malden High School, and the employees remembered me. I always just got a plain toast beef sandwich, but it was sooo good. They heat up the meat for you, which I love.

I’ve only had the roast beef sandwich here so this review doesn’t encompass all of their food. I had a sudden craving for a roast beef sandwich on a Saturday so I stopped by here because Unilocal told me good things. It was horrible, grissly, dry, and the sauce was nothing special. Maybe it’s because I grew up on quality beef sandwiches at Kelly’s and Liberty Bell in Stoneham. This just doesn’t cut it. I would rather drive for the quality. Overall very disappointing.

Very happy with the fried clams, roast beef and veal Parmesan. New order out spot that is for sure. Just wish the delivery driver was friendlier. I always tip so well and he makes me regret it. Would have been a 4 star rather than 3 but he just is so depressing. Anywho… Food is decent and me likey.

Been going to Mimi’s since High School. (Well the one in Watertown at first then Malden when I moved east) The food is good, price is decent and the guys are awesome. All I gotta say is «May I get a super roast beef with sauce n cheese and a taco please!»

Quick friendly service. Place is a little «iffy» looking. Typical Boston area sub shop/​roast beef joint. Ordered a super beef with mayo plate. Came with crinkle-​cut fries, onion rings and a small salad. Price was $ 11 plus change. Sandwich was very good. Not enormous, but given the sides it was plenty. There were a ton of fries well cooked, and a good handful of delicious onion rings. The salad was small, but fresh, and served in a separate container to keep it away from the hot fries and rings. Good experience, will definitely return!

Mimi’s is great. We particularly love their chicken fingers (fresh!) and the taco — I actually preferred it with no sauce, otherwise it can be overpowering. The fries are crinkle cut, NOT COATED (yay), and plentiful. The people are friendly (behind the counter and delivery); I know I go too often because they could tell me my address just by hearing my order.

gross! just got delivery. almost 1 hr and the place is 2 mins from my house. food was warm at most. our curly fries were soggy and had no seasoning. fried mushrooms were gross and warmish. only good thing was the chicken fingers which werent really that good. one had a long white cartilage vein that grossed me out, the grilled chicken blt sub had about 2 small pieces of chick in it. the pickles were bland. i am writing this to remind myself not to eat there again. so if i am reading this jaxs, you heard what i you said! stay away.
