Brian is your old school local go to plumber guy! Not like a big name company that will send you subs who screw you over. He is the real deal. You call him and he is the one who gets it done. I bought a water heater from a store and the installation cost they quoted me was 2x the cost of the unit! I called few places and most won’t even do install unless it was bought from them. Others charge a lot on a fairly simple job of replacing the water heater with similar one. He gave me a good quote and that’s what it was at the end. No hidden extra fees except that he told me that I would have to put a chimney cement around the metal pipe myself which cost me about $ 13 from the store. Otherwise he offered to do it for an extra fee. I was happy to save the money and did it myself after they left. If you are in Malden or adjacent area call Brian.

I woke up this past Saturday at 7 AM to find my basement flooded. The culprit was a very leaky water heater. I googled «plumber somerville» and found Ronin Plumbing and gave the number a call.
To my surprise an actual professional plumber answer the phone, Brian O’Regan. No answering machine, no answer service, an actual professional. Within less that an hour he was at my house diagnosing the problem. He was extremely polite and professional. He took the time to explain what the problem was and told me what it would cost to fix.
On monday morning he finished the job and replaced the water heater, for the exact amount of money previously quoted.
There is only one other Unilocal review, so I would look at Ronin Plumbing reviews at Homeadvisor instead. Overall, I highly recommend Brian O’Regan and Ronin Plumbing.
