this is the most disgusting thing i’ve ever experienced in my whole life. these nachos look feel and taste at least 27 years old. i took one bite and had to spit it out. this is not edible. i hope the one bite won’t kill me but i fear it might. the cheese is so dry and hard. i’m horrified to have this in my house where my family sleeps.

Got something simple, Nachos with just cheese so everything would be on the side when I got home to avoid soggy-​ness, for the sides I got 5 huge sides of sour cream which I don’t even like and one thing of salsa, that’s not even the problem, I live about 5 minutes away from this place and didn’t think to check to see if everything was okay because I assumed you can’t really mess up melted cheese on nachos, when I got home and opened the box I was appalled (to say the least) at these burnt to a crisp ‘Nachos’ I received. (I’m putting up a picture) If they can’t get this very easy thing right on a slow Monday night I wouldn’t trust them to make anything else. A 10 year old could have made better ‘nachos’ for me in the microwave. If I could give ZERO stars, I would!

If I wanted a glass of ice, I’d have ordered one. Every drink was filled to the brim with ice cubes… AT A FRIGGING SPORTS BAR, NO LESS. The food is good, though. Just stick to beer or wine. I felt thoroughly ripped off.

Good food good times, I have enjoyed myself with friends and family here at 621 for the past 12 years. I try to stop here whenever I get a chance most the time Business and once a year to visit family coming from Texas, However when I am here in the Boston area I enjoying a few select spots and 621 is one of my favorites not only for the good times but the quality of food, portions & price. The 621 is by far always a good deal and good food and has always accommodated. This is a family owned restaurant that not only cares about their family and reputation but treats their patrons as their own.

621 catered my bridal shower and everything was fabulous! They give you so much food! Everyone was stuffed and many even got doggy bags! Our favorites were the chicken ziti Broc (Alfredo style) and eggplant! We often stop in for a quick bite to eat and always leave satisfied!

Our food was fantastic. They know how to make some good food here. Our problem was the service. We saw the waitress twice. Once to take the order and then to deliver the check.
After brining our drinks, which she forgot to bring waters we ordered, we received our apps and entrees from a cook or runner, we only saw our waitress 10 minutes after finishing our meal. And then we waited 10 minutes to bring our leftovers to us. And THEN we waited 15 minuted to offer a check.
I’m glad that a person I was with doesn’t drink much while eating because I had to drink their beverage.
The food is great but our server was absolutely terrible.
And our entire party consisted of cooks and servers from other restaurants so we understand how difficult it can be.
Sit at the bar or be ignored.

The first thing to mention is the expansive menu that ranges from pot pie to pizza to pasta. The servers are nice and accommodating. The drinks are always good and easy to go down. It’s a laid back atmosphere where most are regulars. Even if you are not you’ll feel like home. With comfort food and large screen tv’s to enjoy a game or show while you eat and drink. Reasonable prices make the drinks go down even easier. Will return for all of the above!

What can I say, «the 6» is my home. I’m there about 3 times a week. It’s the best pizza in the area hands down and everything else on the menu is delicious. The clientele in there is so friendly. It’s a townie place, no frills, but that’s what I like. You pay reasonable prices for lots of food and get cheap drinks while you’re at it. Most of the staff is terrific! They like to get to know you and before long they’ll know your «usual». I always wanted a usual. Vito and Gary are the best behind the bar but there’s so many staff and they’re all really polite… except the short guy on Wednesday nights. Despite seeing him at least once a week, if not more, for the past 4 years, never a smile, a hello, doesn’t come over when we sit down. Really just doesn’t want to take my order or do much of anything at all. I actually try not to go in on Wednesdays for that reason but it’s the only day my friend can go.

Came here because we had heard their tips were gospel. They were decent, but nothing amazing. I’ve had better for sure, but I will say this place had the most generous portions of sirloin, so I respect that.
Service was okay, food was okay, I gave the extra half star because the setting and how sporty the pub is.

I was very disappointed one time I ordered food to go, but I’ve been back despite my original protest and I have changed my mind. It’s definitely a local hangout
townie-​bar/​restaurant & people like it, so I’ve given it another chance too. I love the steak tips & the specials are usually good too.

Love this place such a hidden gem. Food is so amazing & the portions will surprise you!!! Very good Italian food, one of the last few places to still make a chicken marsala with prosciutto!!!

I have never had a bad meal here. The bar is huge, but it’s hard to find a place because ummm. it’s real good. There aren’t that many tables and I personally prefer to sit at the bar anyway. They have TVs, and lottery. They have the same bartenders (which is always nice.) They also have a lot of regulars. They have a nice-​sized menu. They also have a small menu with afternoon specials every day. It’s all awesome. It’s just a casual bar, but definitely not a dive.

621 Tavern & Grill is one of those tucked away places in the blue collar strip of Broadway in Malden just before it merges with Route 1. Nothing fancy; quite basic but full of character and wholesome grit, with non-​obtrusive big screen TV’s and humungous servings of honestly cooked home-​style food.
The waitresses are almost as fun as the ones at Durgan Park. And the clientele ranges from friendly trailer parkers to business folks yet everyone seems to fit in. Atmosphere is relaxed and there’s a hush of the din that accompanies happy pandimonium.
To be sure, we’re not talking about the Le Cordon Bleu educated chefs, but you’ll be satisfied with whatever you order and be able to bring home at least two more meals in the doggie bag.

We’ve gone here a number of times over the past year or so with our son and they are good about getting his dinner out quickly. Great burgers, pizza and steak tips!

We go in about 4x a year for their tips. Service, apps and food is hit or miss EXCEPT their tips.
For example: sometimes the chicken Caesar salad has eggs, sometimes you get lots of chicken but sometimes you get very little. Sometimes your waitress will check up on you and sometimes you will only see her hanging out with the other waitresses or talking on her phone.
Only the tips make it worth it.

I’ve been going to the 621 for years. They have everything from burgers and steaks to pizza to seafood. There’s something on the menu for everyone. I usually get the steak tip sandwich; the tips are always great, but the bun is usually a little soggy and cheap. If you’re in the mood for pizza, I’d recommend the chicken caesar salad pizza– not many restaurants serve it.
As for the atmosphere, there is a large bar in the center of the restaurant with booths and tables surrounding it. The walls are covered with TVs that cater to the large sports fan crowds and the booths are old (some are torn, most are ‘sinky inny’). The place is filled mostly with locals and it always seems like everyone knows each other. It could use a remodel, but as it is it’s a great neighborhood place to get a drink or a bite to eat.

Service: Wait staff was friendly, but our waitress put her hand on the rim of my friend’s beer glass to make space for the pizza… twice. She also asked multiple times if my friend wanted to take her meatball and pasta to go because she barely ate anything… that’s because she didn’t like the meatballs.
Food: The 621 Pizza was delicious, but my chicken piccata was a bit salty and the pasta and chicken came soaking in the sauce. I asked to have the sauce drained before I took it to go.
Price: The quality of the food is not worth the price, but they provide large portions… which is a plus assuming you liked your food.

Food was good, wished they delivered… Had to go pick it up & was told about 20 minutes, so I get there & they clearly UNDERSTATED the time, I had to wait in the waiting room which was a bar, where I felt compleltely like the Fat kid who doesnt get picked for Dodge ball in Elementary School…
There were about 150 people in there & they ALL KNEW EACH OTHER… I mean it, and the more people who came in, all new each other, it was like Cheers & I was the farthest thing from «Norm»!!!
The food was phenomenal though, good portions. Great prices! Will be back when in the area & dont mind having to wait to pick it up!

Can I just pop in for a second and mention that their steak tip salad rocks the universe? Like, don’t bother with salad dressing. The marinade that they use on the tips is PLENTY to flavor the salad, and holy mother of pearl, the tips are soft and tender and delicious.
Prices are amazing for the quality of bar food you get here.
