Nice relaxing place. They offer free tea and you can walk two labyrinths.

Peaceful and serene… I highly recommend taking a drive to the sacred garden and leave a generous donation as they are non-profit.

Cool nursery with all kinds of plants planted in anything from normal pots to shoes, teacups, tiny seashells it’s also a very relaxing spiritual garden to relax, read a book or play chest. If you wanna get in touch with your inner zen they have an indoor and outdoor labyrinth. The owner is very friendly and has a really nice GIANT dog!

Great place to zen out. The nursery is super cute. There was plenty of care in the labyrinth and the ambiance is made to calm you. Great quick visit for anyone looking for something to do on the way to upcountry!

Magical place. We stayed here for our honeymoon. This being our second time in Hawaii it was also the second time we were there for a full moon. The Sacred Garden and host Goddess, Eve was having a full moon labyrinth walk. This was right up my alley. The green house garden is truly an awe inspiring place. we were lucky enough to be able to hear the owner discuss labyrinths and then talk to the participants after ward. Listening and experiencing Eve was like being around a real live Druid/Goddess We stayed 2 nights on the property filled with passion fruit, lychees, and tangerines. It was moist, warm and beautiful in this«upcountry» location. The upcountry area is much more green and country jungle than the area where the resorts are. The only criticism I have is the room we stayed in was attached to the main house so I could hear then talking, walking, sneezing etc. Next time I return, and I definitely plan on it, I hope we stay in one of the cottages. Also it’s a «farmish» environment so you will hear roosters, but I think that is just what it is like on an island. To be clear you can visit the Garden part and then stay on the owners property(two separate things)

I fell INLOVE with this garden/picnic/meditation/library/shop/nursery. This little place is located in the jungle-ish of Makawao&haiku, sort of hard to find if you aren’t familiar with upcountry. When we first walked in we were greeted by a friendly gentlemen who told us everything about the place. He was very knowledgable! There was complimentary hot tea and hot cocoa, bonus! The place was filled with beautiful flowers, orchids and mostly succulents. On the second floor there’s chairs and tables to enjoy your drink or food(if you bring your own) there was fountains and ponds with beautiful water lily and lotus. What they’re famous for is their labyrinths, which I recommend walking through. Also the wooden Buddha from Bali was so beautiful! The shop was filled with cool items including the array of incenses from India! Please consider buying something or donate to this amazing place!

Hidden gem in beautiful upcountry Maui, a few minutes drive from Makawao. I’m not quite sure what this place is. And I don’t think they know either. Is it a nursery? Is it a garden? Is it a self-realization temple? I suspect it’s just a hobby for the owners so they can meet the crazy tourists who somehow manage to find this place.

I can’t believe there are no reviews of this amazing place. This is a beautiful nursery and spiritual place and should not be missed while in Maui. It’s a great place to stop if you went to the crater sunrise and are headed down to Paia or make it a destination. You must stop by and chat with Eve, I promise you will enjoy her company. If anything, go by and see the 600 pound wooden Buddha. It was carved from one single piece of wood in Bali. Take a stroll in one of the labyrinths or attend a class. The drive there is worth the time. It’s in an amazing location and you would never believe how it turns from farm land to a lush tropical landscape all within 2 – 3 miles. There is also a really interesting gift shop. You’ll just have to go and see it all for yourself. I know some of your«Hippie alarms» are going off but you will thank me once you see it!!!
