Reeve Sherri Gallery & Gifts-Makawao

Let me be the sixth (of seven) to give this shop five stars.
This is a destination store if visiting Makawao. This lady produces some fabulous designs. It’s a fun place to visit.

The must see stop in Makawao for art to add some spice to your home. I love the variety of subjects from nature to beautiful scenic art. Her watercolor art is amazing and fills much of our home. I enjoyed meeting Sherri’s daughter and the whole gallery has a very relaxing vibe. Great place!

My wife and I stopped in after breakfast at the Market Bistro down the street. We were drawn in by the beautiful art, so colorful, tasteful, interesting, creative; we stayed because of the staff and the many gift items available.
We don’t have the kind of budget that allows us to buy much of the art we so appreciate, but here we found more variety of affordable gift items based on the artist’s work that we picked up several items for folks back home. Prints are available in a few sizes and we picked up a couple. They also offer beautiful placemats and coasters, coffee mugs, calendars and more.
I don’t know how we could have received better service, which probably resulted in our lingering longer and leaving happier!

We have visited Sherri Reeve’s gallery several times over the past 13 years and have many pieces of her art in our home. We’ve just returned from our latest trip, and our newest Reeve work is currently being shipped to us. Her work is lovely, and she’s always there to greet customers and personally sign anything you buy. What we love so much about Sherri is that her work is accessible. Walk into some Maui galleries and art goes for thousands of dollars. Those kinds of pieces can be found here, too. But you can also buy wonderful, sizable works of art by Sherri Reeve for a few hundred dollars. You can get smaller works in a variety of forms for the same amount you’d spend on lunch. Her art speaks to everybody and it can be purchased by everybody. If you visit Makawao, you must stop into the Reeve gallery.

Another one of my favorite Makawao shops! Sherri paints all the designs herself, and then prints the design on placemats, coasters, tshirts, trivets, trays, prints, cards, mugs… She paints in watercolors, with bright, beautiful colors. One of my favorites are her sea turtles. My son got me the turtle coasters for Christmas and I love them! They don’t stick to the bottom of your glass when you pick it up. A great place to find unusual gifts that are reasonably priced.

We enjoyed browsing in this beautiful shop and purchased 4 placements — two each of different designs (they are happy to split 4-​packs to mix and match) for $ 28. Delightful and enjoying at home very much!

Loved going to her gallery, not once but 3 times in the week we stayed in Maui. Artwork is just so great, that I found it hard to choose my gifts for family and friends back here in the states. This gallery is a must see. Meet Sherri and her family
