I visited the civid center for the Big Bang Bazaar just like Cecille R and I couldnt agree more with her review. I know there was a Living Social and Unilocal deal for tickets to this specific month for the event so I don’t know if that led to it being more crowded than normal but there was just not enough space for all of the people trying to walk around. I was hoping this event would be a sort of craft fair/art fair/farmers market type event but I was super let down. A lot of the things the vendors were selling were either… to put it politely… something I could probably make myself or they were just plain terrifying(skulls? no thanks). There were a few… and i mean a few… that had some really cute things like jewelry but overall, no thanks. Admission with the Living Social deal included a free cupcake which was uh… right on par with the rest of my experience– a letdown and not worth my time. While I was in line waiting to enter my friend and I saw there was going to be a Christmas themed bazaar in the next couple of months and we got really excited for that but after our experience we have deiced against visiting again. Probably not something that should be charged admission…

Came here for the first time for Big Bang Bazaar. This place is very dated in terms of the interior décor. Brought me back to the ‘80s. Parking fills up fast but luckily there are plenty of other lots nearby to park in which are only walking distance away. The event i attended squeezed way too many booths into such a small venue that they didn’t account for aisle space and individuals in wheelchairs, walkers, etc. The venue is in a great location next to Lake Lily but needs to do some updating to compete with other venues in the area. And that also means being handicapped friendly. I would come back but only for smaller events. Just not worth the hassle for high profile events.
