What I thought was a great inspection came back to haunt me. After closing on the property and moving in, I turned on the shower for the first time to find that nothing on one entire side of the home would drain. The drains were completely clogged. After running the water for 10 minutes I had back up in all toilets and tubs. CBI obviously did not run the water long enough to notice the issue and now it has cost me. If you choose CBI make sure things like this are not missed.

Ricky did an awesome job inspecting our new home, and really spent his time walking through every aspect of the home. He was SO thorough that the contractor was impressed with the quality of the inspection, and said that he had never seen such a complete inspection before.
Ricky found issues that other inspectors missed; and checked literally everything! So happy that we used them!

I used James Hartford to perform the inspection for an FHA 203k loan. He was quite thorough, pleasant to talk to and took the time to explain and show me any of the items he found that I wanted to know more about. They are efficient and you end up with a quality report for any purpose.

If your looking for a CSI dissection of of a home, this is the company to call. Impressed by the companys candor, they have a link to every employees license so it saves you time if your concerned. There was a prior inspection on the home I was looking at by a licensed highly rated Unilocal competitor but they missed several of the items picked up by the Rick our inspector.
He was early, detailed, thorough, & explained everything that showed up on the report plus provided suggestions that weren’t inspection related.

Take this review for what it’s worth. I have no experience dealing with home inspections since this was my first time doing this. I went with this company based on the recommendation of my realtor and it proved to be a good choice.
CBI was easy to schedule with. I requested an appointment through their website and they scheduled within 24 hours. My inspector was Rick and he showed up 10 minutes early for the inspection. The whole process took about 2 ½ hours and he explained everything to me the whole way around the house.
When he was finsihed, he gave a verbal summary to my realtor and me. That was followed by a detailed report the next day. The company’s communication was excellent and always friendly throughout the entire process. If you are buying a home, I recommend using CBI!

I chose these people because they are the most experienced company in town, in the business since the seventies. My inspector, Tim, has been with them since 1994. he gave me a thorough education on the home, and a confident feeling that he had checked everything out and we knew what was what with this house.
