This is one of the worst McDonald’s locations that I’ve been. I went there three times and every single time my order was missing something. My order is always under $ 20 so it’s not big order. My order is always straight forward as I don’t request anything tricky. And apparently the employees are not trained to say thank you to the customers. And I haven’t even talked about their food yet. I’ll either drive the extra miles to another McD location or just go to Wendy’s from now on. I’m done with them for sure.

McDonald’s drive-through is very slow tonight I waited at least 15 minutes before I can order. When I got to the window they had me move up to the reserve parking spot. The problem is the reserved parking spot is already taken by another car who is waiting for their order. Now the car behind me I see also has to wait for their order. I enjoy this McDonald’s and I love to support my local neighborhood businesses. Tonight seems to be an off night for service.

The Landen McDonald’s remodeled last year to add a double drive-thru lane, and it is a disaster. The staff can’t keep up with the increased pace, the lot itself just isn’t big enough, and an annoyingly significant number of the local population doesn’t understand how double drive-thrus work. My first visit with the new drive-thru, they left an item out of my order. I didn’t think too much of it, they’d just re-opened and I can understand a few mistakes at the beginning. More recently(and many months later) I’ve spent several minutes at the pay window, with no cars in front of me and the line building behind me, while TWO employees tried to figure out which order was mine. This isn’t uncommon — the drive-thru cash register seems to be their bottleneck. The other design issue is that the lot just isn’t big enough. There’s not enough space between the first window and the order speakers for the set up to be efficient. What’s more frustrating is that the people who come here act like they’ve never been through a double drive-thru. People cut around the main line to make a second line at the outer lane, as a rule. Since the lot is too small anyway, traffic has to slowly drive around, and people who have gone inside are prevented from pulling out. Today it was so bad, that after a few minutes of sitting in the line with no movement(and two hungry kids in my backseat), I left and drove to the MdD’s on Mason-Montgomery. They had me in and out by the time I would have been ordering at the Landen McDonald’s.

Poor manager … This large group of obnoxious girls just gave them such a unnecessary hard time because they all felt entitled to be crappy & annoying to every one in the restaurant! I give the lady manager an a++ for putting up with it with dignity! even though most of us felt like telling them to shut up & sit down & stop acting like entitled little poops. Five stars for service with a smile when most would not be… ;)
