Awful. Now closed. Would I go back(If they were still open)? Not in a million years.

This was my third time visiting this place and two out of three times I have gone in they have closed up early. The first time I was turned away 5mins before they closed and I was running in to pick up a cupcake for my nephew for the next day and the girl had already put everything away and said they had closed the draw yet the door was still open with patrons inside. Tonight my boyfriend and I walked in at 8:50 and were turned away because the girl said they were closed. Mind you there was still a family sitting in side eating ice cream and watching tv. According to their sign they are open until 9:00pm. As a person who has worked with the public for over 10yrs in numerous stores, restaurants and now hair salons you don’t ever close a store before your advertised time. I understand young kids just want to clean up early and get out of work but you turned paying customers away 10mins before you are suppose to close. Very bad for business.

The only reason this place is still open is because of their frozen yogurt, their cupcakes suck! Cake is always so dry and frosting is so gritty

The frozen yogurt here is delicious! The staff is beyond friendly and offered advice on which pastries, cookies, and cupcakes were their favorites. We decided to go with the oatmeal raisin cookie and it was delicious! Have also gotten other pastries from here before and they were good, not great.

This place has always had a lot of frozen yogurt flavor choices to choose from and an equally as bountiful toppings bar. I’ve taken my younger sister in a few times and the person staffed was always friendly. Seems about the same price as any of the other places in town. I can’t speak for the bakery items, we only had frozen yogurt. It’s a big store area and there’s a lot of room for kids to hang out.

If I could give this bakery less than one star, I would. We recently moved to the area from NYC and have been checking out the local haunts. After picking up delicious Greek food from Greek City(5 stars!) we wanted to purchase something sweet for dessert and stopped at Cups or Cakes. Wow — probably the WORST cupcakes I have ever attempted to eat. I ordered the German Chocolate Cupcake and the Salted Caramel Chocolate Cupcake. Both cupcakes had a bitter/chemical taste to them. YIKES! Maybe we just happened to get two cupcakes that were yucky? Needless to say, I was very disappointed, especially since I was so excited to indulge in a cupcake that looked so delicious… and cost almost $ 4 — are we in NYC still? Though I am giving the food one star, I will applaud the customer service. The gentleman that assisted us in picking out our cupcakes was very helpful, and the bakery was very clean and bright.

Disappointed. Fruit smoothie was minimal fruit and not from actual fruit, but premix slurry. Sugar was the main ingredient. My latte(asked for non fat milk) was a whole milk concoction from a premix machine… no real latte here. Go to Starbucks, at least you know what youre getting.

Was so happy when this place opened up because they have ice cream too! However, huge disappointment when tasting the cupcakes. They definitely were frozen and tasted awful! Staff claims that they bake the cupcakes and cake themselves, but these were definitely made in a factory. Nothing worst than a frozen cupcake/not freshly baked cupcake. Décor is beautiful. Way too big of a space though.

This place was a HUGE disappointment. I came here to buy a cake and some cookies for my sister’s birthday and it was the biggest mistake. Customer service was probably the only thing saving this review, the guy was really nice and considerate. He even allowed a cake exchange when I realized my sister doesn’t like mousse. All the cakes and cookies seemed delicious, and I couldn’t wait to try it. But, lo and behold, it held some terrible results. I first tried the chocolate heart cookies I bought, and they really tasted off. The chocolate was fine, but the cookie part was entirely not fresh. They were stale and just had a terrible taste to it. It was if they were drowned in chocolate just to hide that fact. It was then when I doubted the cake I bought. I bought the strawberry shortcake, and thankfully it tasted fine… until it got to the aftertaste. We noticed that the frosting held a bitter aftertaste– almost like a tang. We then realized that it tasted like refrigerator. I don’t know how they store their cakes, but they really need to reconsider it. Not only that, but parts of the cake were frozen(and so was the unappetizing strawberry on top). I don’t know if they bake these goods themselves, but they really need to reconsider their freshness and storage methods. I would look elsewhere.

Hands down the best Froyo I’ve ever had. Flavors taste so genuine. It’s difficult deciding which of the countless flavors to pour into my cup(not a bad problem at all); but for my money, nothing satiates my sweet tooth quite like their salted caramel yoghurt topped with the chocolate covered pretzels.

What can I say about this place. Great atmosphere, yogurt, cakes, cookies and cupcakes. Had a great experience. Staff is friends. Place is clean. Went at a time where it was full with teenagers having a great time. Nice to know that kids have a fun place to go and experience something nice. I highly recommend Cups or Cakes.

This place is fantastic! Talk about toppings– yum yum. There is a wonderful array of flavored to chose— and you can get samples. Toppings galore. What do they have you ask? Oh it’s good. They have candy bars, chocolate chips, cheesecake, brownie bites, chocolate pretzels, cookie dough, crazy sprinkles and lots of fruit fun. Head on over to get some good Froyo!

So excited that this place finally opened! Contrary to what other person wrote, this place does not have a club atmosphere. The colors and décor are perfect with the choices of delicious and mouth watering items you can order. In fact, it’s very cheery and welcoming. Love the LCD screens with the menu. Now for the frozen yogurt. So far I have tried the chocolate, peanut butter, pumpkin, cookies and cream and salted caramel pretzel. All are outstanding. There is no chemical after taste. Huge selection of toppings. Now onto bakery. The macaroons are addicting. Cute little cakes with choices such as red velvet and cookie dough. I had both of these and was not disappointed. Cupcakes are humongous. There were also adorable little bundt cakes, rugalach and assorted cookies. Coffee is offered as we’ll including lattes and cappuccino which I had. Perfectly brewed with right amount of froth. Staff is professional and place is immaculate. This is my new go to place and slowly becoming an addiction. Best of luck to you guys, this is sure to be a winner!

Review based on cupcakes and store experience only. I did not try the yogurt, other baked goods or beverages. First impression is the colors are a bit jarring and the loud techno music a bit much. Maybe I’m old fashioned, but I prefer to not have my dessert in a club. The sweet girl working at the counter confirmed my suspicion that nothing is actually baked on premises, but they can«order anything you want a few days in advance». Um, ok. I can order stuff from a bakery myself, don’t really need an intermediary. Cake was spongy and dense with no real chocolate flavor, typical of cake mix. Icing is standard grainy confectioner’s sugar/shortening with artificial flavors. The cupcakes are huge, but I’m interested in quality over quantity and therefore have no reason to go back.
